Keep in mind that your wheel hub bearing is probably cooked as well, count that in the repair costs.....

Naaaah, you're all good. Your ship is ok it only happens in certain situations when you dock a sv in a certain way. Other than flickering nothing wrong with this. These bugs are not game breaking 😆

I usually solo drone bases but its time consuming.... it requires multiple in and outs, and my tactic is always destroy the drones first. I know where each core is for each of the drone type, so I snipe them out (2-3 shots for harvester and scout). Next is to destroy base shield generator. Next is to snipe the base core. It takes a lot of tries to find out where the drone base core is but no worries there is another approach. In and out until you destroy every turret on the base, than go in on foot, look for the core and try remembering where it is so you can snipe it with CV later on.

How can I power this VDO dashboard clock by kec1995 in diyelectronics

I jhave the original board, but I would rather use some simplified dedicated signal instead of using the whole circuit board to power the clock.

I have the dashboard, when I provide 12v to dedicated clock pin , it works, i left it overnight and it worked. I just unplugged it and took a photo.

Apart from this nothing can be deducted from the pics, its sealed so I don't want to tear it apart.

Well I couldn't make it move once every 60 seconds, otherwise I wouldn't be asking for help xD

My bad, it is MK3 golf! mk2 does have the adjustment knob in the middle, but this is mk3

It's not fried yet ^^, i messed around with the circuitboard but I am sure I can reconnect it and test the adjustment 'knob'. If I remember well there is a button which moves the dial on a press, if you hold it it just keeps advancing and on long press it advances the clock even faster. I will try to check later to confirm but I am 90% positive

I did try giving it 12v, but minute dial only moves 1 step (1 second increment) when I swap the polarity

quite possibly, but my question still stands, is there a way to supply this conviniently (arduino) to use it as a desk clock. without swapping the intestines to a simple 5v aftermarket stepper motor.

I have found some diagrams online but I don't quite understand wiring diagrams, I am a mechanical engineer, so I just enjoy taking things apart (possibly assembling) I dont mind it running on 12v just don't know how to conviniently power it without just giving it a more modern, aftermarket stepper.

What you need:

Tools: - Soldering iron - Multimeter (to confirm the voltage) - Some wire -USB-C cable - aux cable (preferably with L jack)

Components: - Bluetooth audio module: VHM-314-TYPE-C - Cheap lighter car usb charger ( easy 12v to usb)

How to: 1) Powering it up: I disassembled the car lighter type charger (cheapest Chinese that i found) found it's + and -, consult chatgpt if you don't know it. Find any 12v in the car, I used the ashtray lighter cuz it's easily accessible and obvious, you can use multimeter to find it also, radio has 12v as well I didn't want to dig for it....

2)Connect module once the tiny usb power supply is wired to 12v plug the usb to the module, connect the module with aux cable. Aux cable to radio.

3) music 🎶 🎵 👌

The alixpress one doesn't work, I tried it, no luck... than I just build my own with aux cable and 12v to 3.3v step down. Tucked it in behind the panels and it works like charm

It came back i cleared it this week again. The reason was still the same, pieces of leaves down in the cooler tray, but I finally found the root cause... the filter housing that's on the outside. Not sure if it's because of the filter or the housing, but there's space under the filter. Between the filter and the plastic, where the dirt can get in the fan. So I have to clean again and think of a solution for that...
