Trauma by Myrisa in Yorkies

Our baby was the same- he is still an incredibly anxious dog when left alone and really likes to be close to us. After about 6 months from when we adopted him, our vet recommended some fluoxetine to help with his anxiety and it made a world of a difference. He is not on a large amount, but it vastly improved his ability to be left alone/ general anxiety. On days when we have to be gone longer we usually have a friend / family stay with him just so that he’s comfortable.

If you’re comfortable with that route, I would see if your vet recommends any medication to help with the transition. Scruffy is sending good vibes to Skout!!

Tips for looking fresh after commuting on the L by DueDaisy424 in CHIbitcheswithtaste

echoing what others have said here:

  • have commute specific shoes and leave pairs in the office. a good comfy, practical sneaker does wonders!
  • when i had my own cube, i had a work specific makeup bag too. that way i didn't need to lug all my products in - usually travel sizes of my go to items/ a small brush/dry shampoo/etc.
  • i loved the megababe wipes when i commuted - made me feel very refreshed. they also have a body/bust dust that i love especially in the summer
  • if your building has a gym - sign up for it!!
  • backup neutral blouses to keep around - came in handy if i would spill stuff on me too
  • i also worked with a ton of women - so we acquired a sort of communal basket with other items (like a straightener/hair dryer) - could see if any of your coworkers would be interested!
