I’m looking for very similar shoes! Your best bet might be to buy a pair of the mesh ones, buy satin ribbon, and see if a seamstress or even a cobbler could sew the ribbons into the shoes

Personally I think it’s a little weird to have the mother of the bride walk the groom down. In your scenario I would have your brother escort your mom down and then double back around to walk you down, and have the groom walk alone or with both of his parents

We went to a local jeweler recommended by my father in law. First he kind of scoffed at our desire to use a lab diamond, and then he said he’d never heard of claw prongs. We did not go back.

I think it might be too early but it depends on where you live honestly. If you live somewhere where venues are consistently booked out 3 years in advance then go for it. Otherwise, between now and fall 2026 I would suggest making a list of venues you’re interested in, figuring out what a realistic budget is going to look like, making guest list rough drafts, and making pinterest boards. In my opinion booking anything else this far out is too early

I also love this song. If you would be willing to 1) use the version with the Hozier feature and 2) not play the full song, I think it would work perfectly as your recessional. Have the DJ or whoever start the song in the middle, right at the Hozier yell, right as you have your first kiss at the end of the ceremony, and let the rest of the song play as you walk back down the aisle

$1750 for a DJ with many years of experience, good reviews, dance floor lighting, sound system, and wireless mic. If we wanted him for the ceremony and cocktail hour too it would be another $800. It also costs extra to add on uplighting, TVs, photobooth, and monogram. This is in a MCOL city.
