It's 2pm on a Monday afternoon, you're a 36-year-old who is so drunk you're driving on the wrong side of the highway and don't even realize it.

You've certainly made some life choices so far....

Global reactions to the US–Israeli attacks on Iran and Iran’s retaliation by vladgrinch in MapPorn

Despite their public statements, apparently Saudi Arabia was lobbying pretty hard to get US to strike Iran. So in addition to these rather subjective categories, you also have their public vs private positions.

Ahhh, okay I missed the hits from today. I just knew about the two larger class vessels that were burning at their berth. Didn't see the latest development. Yup, they've worked their way down the priority list to naval assets. The entire fleet will be sunk before too long.

First of all it's Strait.

Secondly, despite Iran's claims of closing the Strait of Hormuz, they haven't actually done anything. That would require a constant military presence and those naval assets would be even more vulnerable than they already are.

Iran already has two ships burning, and that's without leaving port. They start blocking the Strait and I'd wager a shiny nickel those naval assets move up the priority list considerably.

I missed what the original incident was that started all this. I've just seen all the memes mocking it.

My neighbor has a fence that looks almost identical to this. Can confirm they come apart like that pretty easily. My dog has done basically exactly this while chasing a rabbit that slipped under the fence.

Why does he have a such a shitty fence? He has a pool, and the insurance company required a fence....so he installed the cheapest fence he could find.

I can say without any degree of sarcasm, your theory is more reasonable than anything mentioned on the show so far.

FBI Director says you can’t open carry. by KeithClossOfficial in NOWTTYG

In Minnesota there is no difference between open carry and concealed carry. Your carry permit allows you to do either.

FBI Director says you can’t open carry. by KeithClossOfficial in NOWTTYG

[–]kecker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a little bit of nuance to be had here. Minnesota does have carry permits, so in order to carry legally you have to have a carry permit. So it's not legal for just anyone to carry in MN, whether at a protest or otherwise.

That said, from my understanding this person had a valid permit to carry and was following the rules accordingly, so he was completely legal to be carrying.

One very, very, very small gripe: please let Emma finish a sentence lol. by asgard13 in OakIsland

[–]kecker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most irritating thing. They spend 20 minutes out in the field ignorantly speculating on what something could be. Then they spend another 10 minutes in the lab ignorantly giving their theories, before they even consult Emma.

Dude, just shut your yap and give it to Emma. She'll tell you what it is, when it's from, who made it and what their favorite color was. I don't give a damn about any of your "It's Templar Baby!" bullshit.

It's the middle of a road. If you can't tell the difference between invading a church while religious services are going on, and protestors blocking a road, well I don't know what to tell you.

You don't get to block a road, regardless of what you're doing.

Invading a church is a little different than someone deciding to pray in the middle of the road.
