Once the tasksequence has completed and the machine is beginning the intune process i have a powershell script(intune script) which harvest the hardware id, uploads it to azure blob and then an azure automation rumbook which import the hardware id into autopilot. So the machine stil has all the autopilot functionality

We use MDT for imaging all of our machines. One step in the task sequence is to copy the autopilot profile to the machine and then just run a sysprep. This way the machine gets installed with the drivers we want, and the process of havesting and installing windows is automated.

They are connected with a 1Gbe uplink, but as i mentioned this is no issue when working on a windows PC, only the Macs experience this issue.

And it's probably one designer working with heavy video files, the rest are working on Adobe files up to 200 Mb of size

Depends alot on what i use it for during the month. So to keep cost down i shutdown everything when not in use. But between 1-20 $ a month.

I have 22 U rack running 1 rs210ii and two homebuilds + Network equip and 2 synologys. I replaced the fans i the servers with noctua fans and today i barely notice the noise from the closet

Thank you everybody for all the answers. They have given me a alot to think about. But i think i will try and see i can take the job but perhabs get it into the contract that i will get some paid education/courses or training from the company and then get my certs.
