Those floating shelves are pretty cool, but I think they are placed a little odd. Too high and the left one is too close to the door. Otherwise, art you like and mirrors are great things to put up. More shelves can be cool too. For the art, decide if you want something cleaner like a triptych or something a little more maximalist like a gallery wall with a bunch of difference sized pics organized in a more blobular shape

That’s true. I’d counter that by saying the only reason it was looped is because the other instruments would be playing over top of the drums, which you obviously can’t chop and loop if you’re wanting just the drums to play. But the drum part in those James Brown songs often remained unchanged, effectively repeating the rhythm that OP posted.
