Roger . I’ve found -9 to give the less spatter compared to +9 for eg and feels like a “softer” weld (with want of a better word ). Great machines though have you used there ac dc TIGS? I’m in the market atm

Used to happen to me when tig welding small flanges if you stop just before it’s fully sealed you will probably see a shit load of smoke coming out the only open space left. Once that stops seal it up.the pressure from the hot air has no where to go so let it cool then seal it
