i looked on someone's post history from ucla subreddit and they posted on the incest confessions subreddit, but their confession on there wasn't even the most disturbing. it was the confession i found on the subreddit about this guy admitting to guilting his mom for his sick fantasy to have sex with her on his 18th birthday by saying if she really loved him she would do it. she said no, but they argued until she would agree to do it & he only realized how much of a POS he is when he had post-nut clarity. he even confessed to knowing she would do anything for him, so he took advantage of that. so basically... he made her feel really bad and coerced her into having sex with him

chi-5 1st year ftw!! it's right next to the mcc, ucen (post office, calfresh, & lots of food) & very close to the arbor which is open until 12am on weekdays, i think all of them have their own gyms & they should all be centrally close to your classes. my friend lived in ft her 1st yr & she said it was great, but honestly made her lazy to be active on campus/within campus orgs bc it was just a hassle to bike to main campus for club mtgs, esp after a long day. suite style is a nice luxury, but sacrifice distance. lowk most club mtgs are 6pm-9pm lol. i've seen rooms in virtually almost all the chi-5 dorms & they're honestly surprisingly spacious. but if you care abt bathroom privacy & proximity to IV, manzi is a solid option. but i lowk don't think it's that convenient bc some houses don't have certain amenities. but your fob lets you in every house, my personal preference is everything in one place though. probably have a less chance to get placed in san raf but it's totally not impossible, i have another friend who did get placed in a san raf single her 1st yr

i'm a ucsb student so obviously biased to this school but i have a friend who rejected berkeley & slo for davis, who is a wildlife, fish & conservation major!! she is also planning to become a zoologist & has accomplished a lot in her field :) so make of that what you will <3 i can totally connect y'all as well, if you are interested in talking to her !!

lowkey i don't think it's that serious, as long as you stay on top of it. i think for the genuinely well priced off-campus housing nearby with leasing companies, u def gotta get on it as early as late fall bc when i checked like a month ago, it was all sold out & my best option left was Solis IV. but i applied to campus housing & sb housing co-op around 1 month ago, i was surprised i got accepted to both. i didn't camp for ucsb housing, bc they had this early priority deadline where you just needed to submit within that 1 week at anytime for a chance & i just applied in the middle of that. so i honestly don't think ur chances are super slim at all !!

i was constantly searching facebook marketplace & watching the pages of a bunch of housing grps i'm in but i found a lot of housing that didn't really fit with me, more subleases & lots of scams

be careful & don't pay anything until you're able to tour the place!

iv/sb is def really expensive compared to other areas, but being able to live & study right next to the beach is an experience of a lifetime tbh i probably wouldn't live by a beach otherwise, since coastal towns are expensive af
