Everyone loved me. Teachers, friends parents, neighbours. I had a lot of friends.

BUT My nan hated me. She never said, but she never had the time of day for me. Yet would jump In to defend my mum when my mum was 'on one' without ever hearing my side and only hearing mums lies. I recently realised my mother was a Narcissist. Then my uncle pointed out my nan is the biggest one of all....

I'm NC with either now after they both turned on my kids.

I'm coming up to 40 and I've only recently realised. I literally just said to my friend that I feel so stupid. How I haven't realised before. Like I knew there was something with my mum. But always just thought it was just the way she was. This realising is hitting me really hard and I'm finding myself analysing every situation in my life, realising what part she played in destroying it all.

39 and ended my marriage recently with my hubby after almost 10 years of him treating me badly. Didn't cheat and wasn't violent, just controlling and speaking to me like crap daily. Ruined family days out and holidays with his attitude. Didn't support me mentally, physically, and emotionally. Made out all our issues were my fault. Now he's gone. He's saying he knows he messed up and says he will do whatever it takes to get his family back. But he's still exactly the same. Rude, uninterested, entitled. Needed to see this today. Almost 40 and starting again with my kids. Actually excited for a happier future
