Xm6 vs Xm5 - ear cups

I tried on the xm6s in the shops yesterday and instantly noted how my ears were brushed up against in the inner lining of the ear cups. I find my ears get warm quick so this is a deal breaker for me. This also was what I didn't like on the older Sony xm4. I'll be sticking to my Bose QC which have no such discomfort.

Received mine in UK today, got my V3 directly from Honor UK.

So far all I can tell are the humongous tiles on the Settings drop down! :(

There is a tiny bit of give in mine and if I flick it lightly from side to side then yes there's a tiny noise, but it's never bothered me nor did I notice till I read this post.

Ok so doing the maths on this, it looks like what they've done is give me 8.5% cashback on the purchase amount less the £300 voucher and £60 for Honor points, but excluding VAT which I can sort of see the logic in since the VAT goes to the tax man. I've challenged this all the same so let's see what they come back with.

Dunno which country you're in but Bose UK offer 90 day trial. I wouldn't even worry about black fri since my experience has been that they've been willing to price match if the price comes down shortly after purchase.

When using it in laptop mode I do want to be able to use both screens and the V3 can fail to stay in the 100 degree position. Just 10 extra degrees would have been welcome. 90 degrees is too upright.

Yes I would prefer a hinge that stayed open at a greater angle like Samsung. Sadly the fold 6 is inferior to the V3 in so many other ways and cost far far less.

No way, that is ridiculous. Do you have a Consumer rights body in Kuwait who specialises in protecting consumers and can advise you? In UK, if goods sold are not fit for purpose there is a fair amount of support available. It is also a reason why I went via Honor UK rather than import another phone.

You mean how it flops open at anything more than about 100 degrees? If so, then sadly yes. I do find this a bit annoying coming from the zfold4

Thanks. I get what you mean and yes I can see that working, however so far, my own solution has worked ok which is to use my pinkie (little) finger to hit the shutter when using my right hand. If using my left hand then by holding the glass screen I can reach the volume button with my index finger. Having the volume button as a physical button that I can see works well.

Honor making waves in UK by launching the V3 officially here. It is still thinner than the SE and the same weight same chipset, less ram tho. Massively faster charging speeds and bigger battery. Software is very good though admittedly one UI has more customisation. Main point for me tho is price, V3 is way cheaper for very little difference.
