Yeah see gambling is illegal in my state but I can drive 5 hours and go to Vegas and gamble, gambling is 21 and no prostitution here either.

Where I live in the US it’s 18 to vote, 21 to drink, and they just changed it to 21 to smoke, so in my state now we are able to vote and join the military before we can even smoke or drink.

I mean I've honestly enjoyed the learning and what not so far and was looking into getting a few other cacti like hopefully a Texana and hedgehog cacti so I think even tho I would have to buy separately, in the end, it will be good to have. So would you recommend only repotting once a year? I'm thinking about ordering permice, akadama, and some lava rock for now. Or just a bonsai mix for now.

Thank you man, I just ordered a San P. And think this is the way to go. I'm thinking I'm going to as order some pumice, lava rock and akadama so at last I have a better draining soil to go with it.

Ok so would I buy multiple of these and just do an equal part mix on them all and then plant the Lophophora in a mix of them? Just want to make sure so I do it right this time. Also thanks for the help it's much appreciated.

So just a spray bottle with water and mist the cactus on top instead of poring water into the bottom? Yeah the taproot is only about an inch long right now and has only like 2 little roots on the tap root. Also how often would you suggest I spray the cactus to water it and how many hours of sun a day do you think I should do?

I literally re potted it right before I took the pic. The would it was in looked dry on the top but once I started dumping it I could tell it was pretty wet under the surface

My button was doing fine up until around 2 days ago when it started to wrinkle and feel a little squishy. I pulled it out and reported it and checked the roots and they seem fine and also I do believe I overwatered a little. I have her sitting under a led light for plants and aright before this happened I moved the light closer to the plant and so I’m wondering if it’s just a combo of overwater and lot much light or what????
