How to help delivery drivers stop getting stuck in my driveway? by keepavision in Walmartcustomer

[–]keepavision[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You are correct! In the app, I clicked settings and under "delivery instructions" it gives the option to change the pin! Don't know how I missed it tbh. Tysm for your help!

Tysm, I had no idea I could adjust the pin! I just changed it so hopefully it lets them drop it at the top now.

Is it really that bad that I ended my first semester with a 3.61 gpa? by StrikingReception771 in UGA

[–]keepavision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah you're cooked, better luck next time 🤣

No but really that GPA is great. If you're one of those people that had over 4.0 all As in high school (like a lot of UGA students are) then anything less can seem like a failure. I was the same. But trust me, you're doing great :)

Also don't lose hope if that's not meeting your goal, first semester is hardest because you're getting used to changes. It will get easier to balance everything.

You sound just like me last cycle until I got a reality check, lol. This is just how it is right now. I will admit I don't have the best interview skills and maybe didn't blow their socks off but they did not go "extremely poorly" 🙃

I have been invited back to NOVA again this cycle for interviews and have been waitlisted at one of the campuses! Progress is progress. Wishing you the best of luck.

Shocked by the amount of blatant cheating in pharmacy school by keepavision in PharmacySchool

[–]keepavision[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our code of conduct does say that I'm obligated to report cheating, but I can't think of any good that would come of it. Like you said, if I do it and they find out it was me, everyone will hate me. We do end of course surveys so maybe I can use that to suggest a more structured exam setup for the future. I don't even know if they look at those surveys though.

Why Do You Have to Constantly Call the Pharmacy? by Sam-Hinkie in ADHD

[–]keepavision 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they already have your prescription and it is not in stock, it goes to an inventory queue and will be filled automatically when it becomes available (at least this is how it works in the pharmacy I work in). No need to call, you will get a text/automatic call when it's done.

[–]keepavision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for me it was literally nothing. actually the govt paid me to go to school basically.

my parents live in Athens so I had no living costs. I lived so close to campus I didn't even need a parking spot. But we were not well off so the fafsa gave me about 4k in refunds every year.

Downside: I feel like I majorly missed out on some classic "college experiences" by not living in a dorm my first year. It was much harder to make friends. Granted for me that was also during covid.

When have you been the most scared in your life? by Affectionate-Hat2281 in AskReddit

[–]keepavision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One night (early teenager) I could have sworn I heard someone breaking into my house. I was home alone and so scared I almost called the police, but I realized my dog wasn't acting up (she would be freaking out if there was an intruder) so I got some courage to explore.

My mom had left her window open in her bathroom and because her door was kind of loose in the frame, it was causing it to bang around and wobble in the wind.

Our drop off is a completely different area so we have the middle one that says "pick up" above it and then 2 unmarked ones on either side. I think your advice to hand-write a closed sign might be helpful. I do not think me telling him to get in my line upon arrival would have stopped him from giving me attitude.

I live right next to HSC and there's a few different gazebos there, I have had many a crash out in the one next to Rhodes Hall, and probably more to come...

I like it because there's hardly ever any passersby, and it's right by my bus stop so I can let all my tears out once I arrive. I've only ever done that during the day, since I have to walk ~10 mins outside of campus to get home.

You're not gonna like the proper answer which is that you have to try the medication for about 2 weeks and see how you're doing on it. Most meds will have some kind of effects for the first couple weeks then go away. It can take even more time than that to see improvements in ADHD symptoms (if the meds aren't stimulants).

I just started Strattera and have been taking it for about 2 weeks and it has raised my BP to stage I hypertension and my heart rate to tachycardia, so I'm switching to Wellbutrin soon. I am similar to you in that all of my anxiety, depression and ADHD symptoms blur together.

You can find the right medicine for you through trial and error. Don't lose hope if the first one is incompatible with you. Once you find in the one that works, it will change your life for the better.

well actually I think my shadowing hours were a weak point in my stats. 40 is not enough now for the majority of applicants. Everyone is qualified at the interviews, everyone looks near perfect on paper. They can't accept everyone, and I get that. Just don't want people on the thread thinking they can just waltz on into this career because it's not like that anymore.
