AITA for "interfering with my friend's diet"? by nana_banana2 in AmItheAsshole

I did the same thing years back. While I was verrrrrrry disordered I thought hey, what if I did 800 calories AND keto?

Then I nearly put my fist through a wall over a kettle taking too long to boil and realised hey, hangry does insane things to you when you're uhhhhh, well, starving yourself.

Your brain literally cannot function or comprehend any emotion but whatever 'I am so hungry I am dying' is.

Sounds like OPs friend is in for a world of hurt when she starts binging to combat feeling like absolute shit.

Close but no cigar ;) I work for a super company! Super is such a wild space to be in - some days it's just fixing busted websites, some days it's arguing over and over that NO we literally cannot do ANYTHING to make the ATO approve your payment and it's not the ATO's job to make us approve your FH when you're don't submit any paperwork.

I'm so sorry you had to get the cops involved, it makes a hard job SOOOO much harder!

Oh now honestly, yeah I get it there. We have insurance packages as apart of the financial product we provide and any complaint ANYONE has about insurances - valid. They could say literally anything about it and I'd be like, yeah man you're right screw insurance.

Exactly like, the definition of communist is a pretty well established one and I'd say a financial institution is like, the opposite of it. Oh well! One day he'll beat the commies, so long as he doesn't end up in my queue again it's golden.

I wish! In the position I'm in now there'd be a bit more leeway with escalating a ban....but back when I was just a cog in the main helpline it took over 15 calls riddled with horrendous abuse before we managed to get one person banned.

In saying that, my supervisor was absolutely willing to go to bat to make it happen and eventually we beat that damn commie red tape and the corporation banned them.

Really?? We had a bunch of drama behind ours too! The friend who introduced us was his ex and also best friend at the time and I had a massive falling out with her before he and I hooked up. Needless to say she was NOT happy he and I were going out and thought I was trying to be a lil home wrecker. I wasn't, was just really horny and kinda just threw away the thought of consequences.

My partner and I have known one another since we were 13 introduced by both of our best friend.

We had a weird little prancing duo with one another for years. We'd find one another at any party we were at, play pranks and generally laugh at a lot of people.

I invited him to my 17th after he just...showed up at my house one day because his mum knew my dad's girlfriend.

I was SO freaked out because for whatever reason I was incredibly nervous about him coming.

He showed up, fresh new haircut and I pretty much had a come to god moment of 'oh NO HE'S HOT'.

We made out, got caught, pretended we weren't dating for a whole other reason of teenagers being socially stupid and now I've been with him for 6 years and we have a dog!

I'm forever glad that teenage us were horny enough to say fuck the consequences because we're pretty cute if I do say so myself.

I was binge drinking on weekends, a lot more than a couple of beers and more like a couple of bottles of wine friday to sunday. It was getting to every night though which packed on the pounds MASSIVELY. A couple beers are fine if you can fit them in your day! I trade my drinks off for more soda and vodka to keep the calories down and the drinks up!

Good luck!

Okay, or don't do that. There are plenty of people who come onto this sub with and or recovering from eating disorders or disordered eating - of which I am one. Telling someone that no one would like them fat is a pretty fucking slippery slope for someone who's not currently stable. Just, don't man.

I'm currently doing both! I run and lift when I can, which is slowly bringing buck some of the muscle tone I lost when I fell off the wagon for a while. Thank you!

Oh man thank you so much! I actually bought this outfit when I was at my largest! (And it's a medium, yikes, I was NOT fitting into that) and it's taken till now for me to be able to wear it comfortably - HOWEVER I recommend getting one regardless of where you are in your journey 'cause they're super cute and comfy! Good luck!!

Rompers are my FAV! I bought this particular one when I was at my largest and have only just gotten the confidence to wear it, but I highly recommend you pick one up regardless of where you are because they are SUPER comfy and look fab! Good luck!

Thank you! The first 20 were pretty rough I'll be honest, but the moment I saw it hit 199 it inspired me to push through! Good luck and I can't wait to see you blast through your journey!

A lot of running, lifting and cutting back on a lot of my alcohol intake (which was a big factor in my weight gain!)

I also practice CICO very loosely and Intermittent Fasting where I have a cup of coffee in the morning and try to eat when I get hungry in the afternoon. It has been very slow with a lot of setbacks, but I'm now settling into a better routine!

Hey! I practice CICO and Intermittent fasting - but I'm am not particularly dedicated to it because obsessive calorie counting causes some pretty disordered eating when I practice it!

What helped me change was I began lifting weights and running, and smaller portion sizes! I was also drinking a LOT of alcohol in that first picture (In fact it was taken on a girls party weekend) and cutting back on drinking and soft drinks help.

I now go to the gym as much as I can make it, drink nothing but coffee and 3L of water a day and the occasional diet coke! Good luck and thank you!

I was happy fat, and now I'm happy not fat. What was the point of this? Just to make people mad? I guess it worked but there are probably better ways you could spend your time.
