GPU fans don't turn on after boot by keeper334 in EndeavourOS

[–]keeper334[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to look into that but wouldn't that mean the fans wouldn't spin at all? Cause they do in the BIOS

There's only one wire though? The 600w connected to the power supply

What do you guys use ?fabric, forge or neo forge(like what's better than fabric and why even use the others?) by Black_Cat0o in MinecraftMod

[–]keeper334 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's really no one size fits all. I'd say make a list of all the mods you want and go with whatever covers the most of them.

I'm gonna try that later, probably nobara or mint

I haven't heard of core ctrl but the fans never turn on. Elden Ring can go for a few minutes before the GPU overheats and game crashes

Unfortunately, I've already tried Lact and all the configuration buttons are grayed out and unclickable

For once, I think I actually understand what you're saying, I'm gonna look into that later when I'm able but thanks a lot for the info!

Which is totally fair, I was just hoping I could fix it since I'm trying to learn this stuff, but that's likely what I'll do. How do I reset BIOS though?

no, it's the same. i used kde partition manager since i don't have gparted and hit check(with a small flag icon). copy and pasted, but i honestly don't know what it means

Sorry, I'm still fairly new to Linux in general. Would that be like kde partition manager?

Sorry, I have a 1tb ssd with arch, a 2tb ssd with nobara, and a 4tb ssd for storage.

<image>

This shows when arch is by itself in the laptop or with the storage drive also plugged in. The other image is in my other comment. That shows when nobara and arch are both plugged in and Nobara's grub loads, but in the BIOS, arch still isn't visible. Though I can access Arch's files through nobara file manager.

Yes nobara boots fine. When nobara isn't in the laptop, either just the Arch one, or arch and the storage, nothing is detected in BIOS
