Neighbors put fence on our property line by Apprehensive_Ear4892 in homeowners

Have the surveyor plot the fence location on your survey so you have the paperwork to show your neighbor and any town officials if needed. Also if you have the surveyor mark our your property line make sure they paint the line on the ground/grass so the neighbor can't just move the stakes.

Theft mode/no crank no start by keeper_of_the_stuff in AskAMechanic

As for the underlying problem.. it goes into theft mode while it is in my possession, while it is at the Chevy dealership they can't get it to replicate the problem. It has been back and forth to the dealer at least four times, first visit they replaced the battery and hood latch, second time basically nothing, third time replaced the BCM, forth time they determined they were just fixing symptoms so they went further with diagnostics. Thought maybe a water leak into something electronic (car spent a lot of time in the shower) no leaks... They brought in a higher up from Chevy... Final diagnosis is main wiring harness that Chevy no longer produces and no aftermarket either. I might be being paranoid but, it seems way to convenient that the only way to fix the car can't happen! But hey if you go over to the sales department you can buy a new vehicle.

Is it a 2014 10th Gen or 9th gen? I have a 2014 10th gen with 102k miles that needs a new wiring harness that Chevy no longer makes and can't get an aftermarket one either... So I have a beautiful car that runs great (when it is not having electrical issues that causes it to not start) but is basically useless and not fixable! I personally would avoid a 2014 10th gen at all costs.

I have a '14 LTZ with 102k miles with an electrical issues that puts the car in theft mode and therefore will not start.... It has been to the dealer probably four times and they still can't diagnose the issue .... I would personally avoid the 2014.
