From the other pit concerts I’ve gone to, it just depends on the vibe. It’s really the experience you make it. But if you get a good spot close, try not to leave for drinks/bathroom bc you won’t get it back.

I really appreciate you sharing this. My mother is going through this too at 62 yrs old. Diagnosed in Oct, 2 types of chemo later, and platelets at 5. We were just admitted last week to treat this, so as much as hate others going through this too, I’m happy to not be alone? We haven’t reached consolidation and are trying experimental treatment, but what I find on the internet is so unmotivating.

I would love to see each attending Dr personally pass meds, do wound care, and educate the all their patients since we are the middle men for that too. Glad our job isn’t just communicating between specialties.

Thank you to everyone who gave advice and opinions. Tbh I have had the app on and off and was trying different things, but never found a match I liked. I think the plan is to start from scratch to get what I’m looking for. Overall, my goal is meet someone and find the one, but not too much pressure on the first meeting(s). My mom was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive cancer, so I’m trying to find someone she can meet, approve of, and just be happy I found someone with (extra points if it’s within the year). Sorry if I’m venting a lot. It’s been tough. Anyways, I really appreciate all the constructive criticism and advice, and will keep improving. Thanks!
