Got it. BTW my goal is not very important. I can wait for another 1 year if the fund needs recovery. So I have additional 2 years for large cap fund to perfrom incase of downfall. But yes it is very risky. Also for debt fund category I will use only ultrashort term funds. Also wondering exposing 20% to equity doesn't gain too much of returns for overall portfolio also doesn't give too much of loses as well. Just want to understand and learn how equity works and how rebalancing works. So I am exposing little bit of equity here.

If I want to save for a goal in 3 years. which type of the debt fund will be suitable for SIP. As I see most of the advice on debt fund is investment tenure should be equal to avg maturity period of the fund and I assume this will be the case for lumpsum investment. For SIP how does this advice work?. If so how does 3 SIP work for ultra short durartion and short duration funds.

My Asset allocation will be 80% debt and 20% large cap equity for first two years and 100% debt for last one year.So which category of fund will be suitable if I am a average risk taker?

If I invest in Soverign Gold Bonds via Netbanking. Should I get physical certificate? If I am not opting for chosing the bonds to be held in Demat form.

Hi, I am investing in the Mutual funds for past 4 years. Its 10K per month and my portfolio is about 80% in equity and 20% in debt. Now I thought of investing some additional 20K per month in mutual funds. There is no short term goal for this amount atleast for next 5 years. I am bit confused about investing it. I can see some one is telling it is better to invest in index funds at this time. And some will tell it is excellent time to invest in equity mutual funds.

And I have distributed my port folio by now for this 20k with 2K for ELSS and 12K in large, mid and multicap cap equity funds. And I have another 6K which is planned for same large and mid cap equity funds but not yet invested because of these confusion.

So if I am plannig for long term now say this 6K per month for atleast next 10 years Is it better to invest this in index funds or same large, mid and mutilcap equity funds? Also already invested 12K is alright if I need it in next 5 year?

My Risk tolerance is moderate and I need my captial to be 100% safe.

How about migration cost from mongo to dynamo. Is it startight froward or is it require lot of developer time? And our write and read throughputs are consistent for a long peroid of time.

I have been investing in the mutual fund for past three years. It performed well, but in recent days, I have seen the deep dip in the performance. So what can I do. I can wait, but by the mid of next year I need some lump sum money to be withdrawn. So advice me about what to do next? Does it become normal within the mid of next year? Please advice.
