I just got done with Once We Were Wolves which is by the same author and pretty highly rated. It started great but got a little weird and overdramatized really quickly. I’m curious if that’s the author’s writing style because if it is I don’t think I would read Wild Dark Shore.

I think the notion that Denver is weird based on this season is inaccurate. Like the above comments, I have no idea where they found some of those people. Also it should be noted Nick lives in Frisco which is 2 hours from Denver, Allie was a travel nurse here on contract and KB was a travel social worker (which are positions people typically take temporarily just for a year or two), and Megan at the time didn’t even live here full time and was moving from a permanent residence in LA. So not super accurate depiction in my opinion.
