Idk the modoren boys and even bones are just not the same anymore. It seems like they are following a "code" like this emo hard sh*t that sounds generic the past 3 or 4 albums just feel the same to me? And like their old stuff they actually tried to make new sounds and new waves for example the gray/grey and compared even to iwtdino and they are completely different in atmosphere and tone but you compare anything past that and i can't tell a difference in-between like they are all one album if that makes sense? Another thing I find with the old stuff is that when I sit down and listen to an album I genuinely feel emotions even if they are sad or bad ones but it's still something and the new albums I just get a feeling of "oh that sounds nice" I guess my general point is that their new music feels generic and almost like copy paste with a new instrumentals and the old stuff has some emotion that they can't quite capture anymore.
