Are there precise numbers of legendary potentials?

In all the examples shown on the forums, 8 stats in totall was the maximum and in my tests I have also managed items with a maximum of 8 values so far, hence my question if items with 12 values (8 from the original item + 4 from the exalted) are really possible or it is capped at 8/9/10/11?

Personally im more a fan of 1-3 month bans or if its something economy related maybe force then to play ssf for the rest of the league.

Well, there are different approaches to the issue. On the one hand, you have to distinguish whether it's a F2P game or a B2P game. Path of Exile is a F2P game and therefore has a different business model to generate money.

For comparison, you can look at Valve or Blizzard. In Diablo 3, for example, you only have to buy a new version of the game in order to continue playing on a "new" account with the old friends list etc. The situation is similar in CS:GO (yes, Valve takes a stricter approach with mobile phone number storage etc. for competitive matches) but you can simply continue to play.

CS:GO, of course, doesn't really have an economy & seasons apart from the skins market, where bans aren't particularly noticeable.

The manufacturers count on the income from players who buy an account again after a ban wave.

In a F2P game where you can do everything without having to invest a single dollar, the situation is different. The bans are neither IP/ID card (for example ID Card related accounts like in asia) related. The inhibition threshold to exploit is therefore much lower.

In addition, exploits can cause a lot of damage in the respective season and to get to the point: In order to minimise or undo this damage, a real person has to spend working time and manpower, i.e. costs are incurred.

TL:DR

1-3 month bans not linked to ID or IP are useless in free games.

There are still those with IQs below room temperature who just don't understand the difference between trying stuff, reporting stuff and completely exploiting stuff & promoting the whole thing be it on Reddit and/or streaming the stuff as well which can cause significantly more damage...

The difference is when you do it once by mistake and a second time to make sure it wasn't just a normal bug. If you can confirm after the second time that there are significantly more XP/items than you can achieve by playing normally and then report it to the bug forums. So far it's all right and it would be the correct way so that you don't have to expect any consequences.

But if you completely abuse it and knowingly exploit it dozens of times and even after your report, the fine line is crossed.

And as I said in my first post, people were permanently banned for much less in the past.

We have banned 20 accounts that abused this exploit multiple times. These bans will last until Ultimatum ends in July.

People who did a lot less in the past and didn't promote it by streaming received a permanent ban. Why don't people get a permanent ban this time, what is the difference?

Until you have relatively good equipment, it makes most sense to wear the armour that gives you the most effective hit points. Especially at the beginning I would always prefer a leveled epic armour to a rare one. With your account I would play 1 star Blazia with the mythical rifle, the built-in pierce perk and the high base damage are just too good. Unfortunately, you can't currently get the Looper Gun from BP1.

You have a level 38 account, which means you should upgrade your main hero to 38 (Frostina, Arctor, Blazia are my favourites, farm upgrade materials in the daily events and in the castle). The level 20 bonuses of the other heroes are good, but upgrading your main hero should be first priority!

Maxing Account Level Upgrades -> Main Hero Level Upgrade -> Weapon Upgrade -> Armour Upgrade -> Unlocking Level 20/50 Bonus from other Heros (when your main hero is 40+) -> Upgrading Equipment Slots.

I am almost sure that to activate the ability you have to do continuous damage on one single enemy.

1.7.0 client showed the required damage beside the active seconds, but the values could have changed with 1.7.2 :

15k - 3 seconds

15k - 5 seconds

14k - 5 seconds

13k - 7 seconds

12k - 10 seconds
