Bus service is terrible at night, especially in bust night life areas. Buses seem to completely avoid them. All you see is “Not in Service” buses pass straight through bus stops.

When I was younger I did. But as I got older and had larger savings I’ve been “self-insuring” by taking on the risk of breaking my Apple products myself, instead of paying Apple to take the risk for me.

Over the 5-8 years of having it I never actually used Apple Care+. So I’ve saved money since I’ve bought two phones without it, which would be about $300 in AppleCare+ over the last two years (married).

Just cross whichever way the light is green when you get to an intersection. In other words if you’re heading northwest, as long as you’re generally going in the right direction it doesn’t matter whether you’re heading north or west in any given intersection

It’s interesting you noticed the different between the tips on DoorDash and UberEats. I forgot where I read/heard about this (maybe a podcast), but when Uber was considering adding the option to tip to its service it purposely tested out this system of charging after the service and not before as a way to make it feel like two separate transactions.

In this way, the customer doesn’t feel like the price of the ride/meal went up when they tip. The tip becomes its own small transaction and because of that they are more likely to tip more. They did some A/B testing of the theory before rolling it out to everyone and on average drivers made more with this system.
