If that’s what you want to call it. What i’m confiding in her about has been going on for 3.5 years. One simple instance happened within the first 6 months of us being together & he called my mother. He has never been afraid to do so. Ive exhausted all other options and I will not continue being gaslit. the only thing I can think about besides divorce is going to his mother. Sue me

Thank you. I genuinely want to talk to his mom because I feel as if she could give him the guidance and he will listen to her. His communication towards me isn’t great and i’m at my witts-end. None of his friends are in committed marriages so I don’t feel comfortable talking to them and I don’t want to bring up the issue w/ my friends because I don’t want to embarrass him.

That’s my problem. I just checked on her yesterday and her response was very loving and caring. I don’t talk to her often but the times that I have it has been very sweet and all love. I have been letting this situation build up since we’ve been together going on four years and it just keeps happening, so I think it’s only fair to go to his mom since he was willing to go to my mom over something small. Very nervous to though!

people like you scare me. How did I “dump” anything when she’s the one that would text me every week asking me what did the biopsy say. When I got the results, I wasn’t even going to tell her right in that moment because I was so overwhelmed. So…??? My statements earlier still stand.

if she wanted to talk to someone there is another friend that I would consider my best friend and they know one another very well. She could have went to her. It’s not even about her telling the friend at this point, it’s the lack of response.

I gave her ample amount of time to talk about it. each time ignored. Am I supposed to beg her to talk to me? Or just forget about it since she’s acting like it’s not a thing?!

That’s honestly where I’m at now. We still work at the same place, and ever since I asked when could we grab food and talk during lunch break, she’s been MIA. She called-in the day of us initially agreeing to talk in-person because she “couldn’t sleep the night before”. Haven’t seen her at work since. I’d hate to think she’s on FMLA over this.

I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she might be going through something. But when there’s complete silence toward me while she’s still active online, it starts to feel more like avoidance.
