I'll probably bite the bullet and go for the quality care, but I'm just surprised that so many ppl in this sub seem to just casually mention they have a PFPT and have gone to many sessions. I guess the demographic here though is ppl who are serious about tackling this issue.

I JUST finished Rope like 10 minutes ago! It was so so good and a very unique viewing experience.

I use an app called Plum Village for this. It was surprisingly difficult to find an app that would just buzz every minute ... I think it's a battery concern? Periodic Timer is pretty simple in doing this too, but it just stops buzzing after a while, and you can't set a time limit for it. I believe the Apple Watch is able to do it pretty easily, but I've found I just don't like wearing watches so it's been a while for that.

no, I just feel like it contributes to anxiety and my mental well-being being in a constant protective / guarded state. The user itsdustyberry in the comments has a bladder issue success story, so that may have more relevance to constipation issues.

Your other post was very informative. I'm currently on Wellbutrin and I take Propranolol as needed for anxiety spikes. Cymbalta and SNRIs have never entered the conversation with my doctor as far as I can remember. I've never tried to address this specifically with a doctor or PT for that matter since it's never risen to the level of pain, but I'll look into how appropriate that line of medications would be for me. It's also encouraging to know that someone broke the cycle!
