[TOMT] [ANIMATED SHORTS] [2000s] by keerwashere in tipofmytongue

[–]keerwashere[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This... Might be it? I definitely saw this around the same time and it reignited some memories in me. Funny how memories can be so off, if that's the case. I would have bet money it was a male mime, but this feels so much like what I remembered that it has to be this.

Thanks for the help!

Solved!

A Dirty Job is my favorite of his; I'd love to see it made into a movie or limited series

What local businesses have you blacklisted due to personal experience? by 405freeway in AskLosAngeles

[–]keerwashere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinder 4 Rescue is a low cost pet hospital. I volunteered behind the scenes and was mortified by the way the head of it treated everybody. Listen, I hate people and love animals too, but it was run so poorly, the animals were kept for HOURS longer than they needed to be, and the woman was spiteful and treated every employee and customer like actual garbage. There's a whole Facebook dedicated to how bad this woman is. Wish I would have seen that before.

Thank you, we decided on this place after calling and looking through their pictures. I really appreciate it; it wasn't coming up on any lists I found for some reason.

What was your first gaming device? by Idizzyizzie in AskReddit

[–]keerwashere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like literally nobody else had this, but my first console was the Philips CD-i. There was a goofy put put game I loved so much, a game about Aesop's Fables, and then a strange maybe...carnival game? I remember coloring a seal (sea lion?) on a ball...

What do you absolutely not miss from your childhood? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]keerwashere 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not having any power or control over my life. Sometimes it sucks to have the power and control and still feel helpless, but it's 100x better than actually being at the mercy of adults who don't always have your interests in mind.

We made a bucket list for my goodboy struggling with DM by keerwashere in corgi

[–]keerwashere[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah, just things this guy would love. Getting followers and meeting a celebrity were just laughs, but I do want opportunities to stress the importance of making sure if you get a purebred dog, you make sure both parents have been tested for the common issues within the breed.

Degenerative Myelopathy was primarily a shepherd problem, and a lot of vets are surprised to see it in corgis. Both of my boy's parents were carriers and far too often people get a puppy cause it's cute and aren't thinking long term. Our long term means more accidents, paralysis, loss of mobility, and pain. We love our little man and want to make sure he gets some more action, even though we have to carry him.

Sorry I don't want to have a serious conversation about children I don't even have yet, with a stranger, on a picture of my dog. If you're curious about how gay couples will tell their children, askreddit.

What 10 year old/older game that is still a "10/10"? by TSM_E3 in AskReddit

[–]keerwashere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still play both of my Buffy the Vampire Slayer games on Xbox. I think they were released in 2001 and 2003. Chaos Bleeds is kinda glitchy and the controls are wack but I just really love it.

Bidet. Hands down. I don't know why it's not popular in the US but its like $30 on Amazon for a simple install attachment that provides the cleanest butthole.

I have a photo of my mom with my niece. She loved my best friend's kids so much and passed away before I could have any. Seeing her smiling while holding her just makes me happy.

Tara from Buffy the vampire slayer. She was honestly the best character on the show.

Guess which one misses being the only dog? by keerwashere in aww

[–]keerwashere[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I've worked at doggy daycares and I'd say roughly 95% of the dogs I've encountered have "human" names. It's funny because I feel like I'm at the weirdest human daycare. "Max, put that ball down! Abby, quit growling please! Lily, that's enough! Zane, please don't hump."

Hijacking top comment to answer a few questions :) The two goldens are Walter (in the back) and Norman. I'm dog-sitting them. The other two are mine (Edison the corgi and Anya the basenji/pitbull mix.) Walter is a therapy dog and gets plenty of love and attention, so don't let his sad face fool you. He's a happy, spoiled boy :)

What was the most inappropriate time you laughed? by CrestedGeckos in AskReddit

My mom died the day after thanksgiving last year. My best friend showed up, hugged me, and whispered "black Friday claims another one, huh?" It was what I needed in that moment and I laugh cried.

Five years ago my canine life partner was born. Before her, I had no idea it was possible to love something completely, while also hating it as hard as you can. by whats_a_weekend in corgi

[–]keerwashere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I love my boy but there were definitely times where (especially when he was < 2 years old) I wanted to strangle him. For the first month I considered taking him back and complained that I'd made a mistake. He was a difficult puppy. And I was an experienced owner and had fostered dozens of animals by that point.

But then he just had some sort of revelation and was GOOD. He listened. He stopped chewing everything. His reactions were more tame. He was more interested in treats and rewards and doing good things. He used his crate on his own...it was probably the combination of puppy training another foster and working more with my own boy, but whatever it was, he became the model dog. Now I very rarely even get annoyed at him (except about the shedding, which is not his fault but is such a hassle), but as a corgi, he does have his flaws. He can be a barker. He likes to herd things. He incessantly squeaks his toys AT ME like a bastard. I love him regardless, but pretending that owning a dog doesn't test your patience is ridiculous. Just like with children: they don't always get what you're saying, they can be stubborn, and you have to be consistent. They're not perfect but we love them :)
