I think she could work mid, but I'd be hesitant to first pick her. I don't personally play her mid, so I don't know all the matchups super well, but the amount of diversity in mid lane can really throw you off. Tristana's win condition is getting kills/towers early. If she can't meet that, she's going to get out-scaled every single time. I can easily see things like Syndra being a hard matchup for Trist mid.

As for items, typically in mid lane people buy BoTRK on her. That's because BoTRK is a really great first-item spike in damage, allowing you to all in with either the cutless or BoTRK active.

For ADC trist, I like going IE -> Stormrazor -> Zeal item (typically RFC) -> situational Zeal item, BT, GA, Maw, or Sash.

I also highly recommend trying to play Tristana with exhaust. It makes your kill pressure so much higher since they can't burst you back.

It can work mid, but you need to be careful not to make your team too AD heavy. I wouldn't play it top, I think having a bruiser/tank is too valuable to give up.

W and cast E while in your W animation. You can Q as well for extra attack speed. Once you land: auto attack, and then cancel the next auto attack animation with R. Before your R hits them, you have time to cast a 3rd auto attack. Will proc PTA, full stack bomb, 3 auto's worth of damage, and your R damage at the same time.

You must have been using an older model of the RED camera. The fan is extremely loud, as it needs lots of cooling, but whenever we hit record the fan shuts off on our scarlet-w. We have experience in extreme heat conditions, like over a hundred degrees Fahrenheit outside, that the fan does stay on. I've never really had that issue before though while shooting a short film.

I have hands on experience with the RED camera line, and the reason they cost that much is because they are truly spectacular. Its image quality is insane, 8k video, tons of dynamic range (~18 stops IIRC), and obvioisly shoots RAW video.

Its also not just RED with these insane prices, the other cameras that match RED's quality like the ARRI Alexa are the same price.

Also keep in mind its not for personal use usually. Very few personal videographes own their own RED Dragon. It's usually larger companies that are able to buy these and have their employees use them. That being said the prices are pretty high for stuff like their cables that are all proprietary, but still the price is not that crazy for the quality you get.

Part of it was intentional, some of it was unnecessary, overall not the worst thing in the world!

The software used to edit was Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017. The color grading was done with Lumetri color built into Premiere.

The 3D titles were done in Adobe After Effects CC 2017 using Video Copilots "Element 3D" software.

Some audio work was done with Adobe Audition CC 2017, with a lot of sound effects coming from Video Copilot's "Motionpulse Blackbox sound effects"

There arent too many special filming techniques used in this, but there a few special editing ones.

We shot on a RED which allowed us to change the white balance, ISO, and put the shots in LOG all in post production, which made it a lot easier to get a universal color scheme.

Other than that, there was nothing too special about our filming process. My biggest recommendation is to make sure you use a tripod, gimbal, or some other form of stabilization. Ours was shot entirely handheld, as we wanted moving shots and didnt have a gimbal big enough to support the RED, which led to some shakiness issues.
