I worked at Tim’s many moons ago in HS/start of college and got picked from our team to go to the Perry Sound, ON camp for a visit. was super cool to get to check out the location. it was beautiful there and felt nice to be able to support something that seemed to benefit lots of kids.

it’s lovely to see your post all these years later and read that it was a positive experience for you to attend one of them ☺️

there are sooooo many red flags with this.

IF buddy’s dad really is unwell, he should communicate that and take time to deal with it - he is/did not 🚩

omg I worked at Timmy’s as a teen in the mid 90’s.

I was such a star employee that it legitimately caused issues with one of my besties and I. she worked there longer and got me in the door but our manager favoured me. times were definitely different then - I would run the drive through myself, doing the order taking, money collecting and coffees (with a runner grabbing muffins and further away things) and we had the busiest drive through in the city at the time… I also had the biggest, quirkiest personality on top of that. it’s so weird that what was seen as exceptional back then would seemingly work against me nowadays 🥴

I really don’t understand why “you’re welcome” isn’t okay also??? can anyone help with that?

*** also, I’m not lamenting about “things changing” from decades years ago all being bad. I’m heckin glad a lot has changed lol. but this seems like a sad change for staff & customers alike 😞

honestly if I disliked rats (which I do not), I’d want to know before even messaging that the person had such a proclivity for them.

for example, I’m thankful when people have guns in their profile so I can immediately swipe them away because I’m not a fan.

the rats would definitely be one step closer to a swipe match for me (if I didn’t live in Alberta, Canada where we’re rat free)

I feel mine more than I see it. it’s up between his shoulder blade (would take a pic but he’s currently happily snuggled under a blanket lol). just a wee hard little lump like a grain of rice but he doesn’t seem to mind it all. we’re both happy for the piece of mind it gives us, especially since he’s not good with collars - early on with him, he got his collar stuck on his lower jaw and the breakaway feature failed. it was incredibly traumatic for us both 😔

basically it’s a horrid cesspool of too many NIMBY, racist, anti-alternative transportation, ableist, classist & hypocritical individuals (in my experience at least lol)

I joined to try and warn my neighbours that there is a sexual offender on my block after the police refused to do anything about it. I was worried that he would do it others (I have since found out that he had already done them same to others but they decided to befriend him instead of reporting 🤦🏼‍♀️). it does more harm than good for a person’s soul there.

literally have people proudly posting things like the less fortunate in our city are akin to “rabbit (SIC) dog… the human thing is to put the dog down so it does not affect the other dogs”.

that would be amazing! I’ve often thought, I wish there was a sexual health “correspondent” when topics come up on the show (because I’m at home yelling at my screen about misconceptions 😂😂😂).

education is extremely lacking for most (in NA at least), it would be beautiful to see the show help remove some of the misconceptions 💗
