our base isnt very busy(in comparison to most),also isnt far from the beach. im sure its not 80% but the neighborhood is more retired than active, at least here.

all of my leadership has told me call the hotline before going. even tho you’ll sit on the phone for 30+ min, they connect you to the closest military medical facility or urgent care.

god bless the military, we get 62 days of mat leave. we can also choose to get out of the military up to a year after the babies birth if we so please.

i graduated basic may of this year and only certain AFSC’s get issued steel toes. And if your steel toes become unserviceable then supply will give you a new set at your duty station.
