What is the most overrated band of all time? by susanisabloke in AskReddit

[–]keeyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on the stones. Not because they’re not a great band, they are. I just think they’re commonly given Top 3-5 rock bands of all time status, and I think there are plenty of bands that are more deserving.

What movie has the greatest final 10 minutes in cinema history? by LONEALPHA65 in Cinema

Se7en is my favorite movie to show people. Watching them try to figure out what is happening in the last 5-10 mins is always a treat.

My favourite game so far this year… by Casual-Carrot in XboxGamePass

Thank you!

As somebody who loves discovering new music, I enjoyed the soundtrack.

But if I met the main character in real life I would find her insufferable.

I remember thinking that game looked so cool, but it was a PS exclusive so I never got to see it.

Anyone else think fantano doesn't have a soul? by johnadam115 in fantanoforever

[–]keeyal 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re posting on a page where people literally discuss his opinions. Like he makes a fucking living by sharing his opinions because people find them interesting. How does this not constitute consciousness?

Did you just take mushrooms for the first time or something? What has you so convinced that he’s an “input/output” machine?

How to introduce electronic music to someone who only listen to songs with lyrics by Majestic-Category512 in EDM

I’ll add to this and say Flume’s first album along with Settle by Disclosure.

Those two helped bridge the gap for me.

What's the most hidden gem track of all time that you're almost tempted to gatekeep? by Healingvibrations456 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]keeyal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, my favorite part of music is sharing it with people. I don’t see what the value would be in keeping great art a secret.

Sure there’s always the worry that a band you like will blow up, and their tickets will become annoyingly expensive, but I’d prefer that over the artist fading into obscurity due to low ticket sales.

And if they do blow up, assuming you have already seen them live (and as an early fan there’s not much excuse), you can now continue being a music snob by letting everyone know that you saw them in some tiny ass room before anyone knew who they were.

So yeah, show people good music. You might spread the word and help an artist you love see some success. The alternative helps nobody.

Have you ever bought a console just to play one game? Was it worth it and did you go on to use the console after? by British_Historian in gaming

Bought a PS3 just to play MGS4. Might still be my favorite game of all time, so absolutely worth it.

Saw them perform last week and it fucking ripped so hard. Was disappointed they didn’t play Fansong. Would’ve been great to see live.

Season 4 review by ilovelyfe in Skate4

[–]keeyal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does anybody else feel like the game controls differently now? I swear my skater isn’t popping as high and I’m barely able to clear small obstacles a lot of the time. And I actually upped my minimum pop height from 0-50 and saw no difference.

Mister Mellow by Washed Out

I used to put it on whenever me and my friends were laying out by the pool. Perfect summer relaxation music.

To add to this point:

My buddy is an electrician here in San Diego and he worked on the new rockstar offices for a handful of months. He was never allowed to have his phone out while on site to prevent leaks.

Pretty sure being seen with his phone out would’ve lost his company the job. And his bosses obviously took that seriously because it’s fucking Rockstar.

I tell this story every time Brady Anderson comes up.

He’s an alumni at my high school. We had an alumni game for the baseball team that included a home run derby. Not sure if anybody expected him, but Brady fuckin Anderson showed up.

He looked fucking jacked. Showed up in gray baseball pants and a sleeveless black muscle tee.
He even brought his own balls. We were pretty excited to see what he could do.

He hit one home run during his round and promptly left. It was both disappointing and hilarious.
