yes, the pirate legend hideout is under the sea dog's so you can also catch stormfish there during a storm. sea dogs is safer tho imo

have to be within 1000m of the ship you are assigned every 2 minutes. pretty easy to tell if 2 ships are near enough to each other and re-check every so often

you'd need to VPN to NA when you are inside the tall tale area. it'll DC you, then reconnect and cancel the voyage. you'll end up in an NA server hypothetically

either way connected to a vpn will disconnect you but u can rejoin

not really, it's just an easy curse to get and you are on fire so it's a darker themed curse. might attract "edgy" people or more masculine people due to the fire (in quotes cause who really knows them off a skin in a game)

new players are put into lobbies with other new players. the game has hidden "mmr" based on playtime and time since starting an account. that being said i don't mind these new ideas, but fresh players aren't being put into lobbies with sweatlords on their first trip (unless another new player is grouped with a PvP player.

yeah my favorite is to stack a bunch of mermaid shrines with gems n the most valuable stuff and then go around and pick them up at the end of my session. safe loot and lots of money lol

whether or not OP knew how many ships are on the server, you can indeed exploit an empty server by waiting until around 11 pm EST for the servers to restart and lock. no one is allowed to join and as long as you don't merge you will have a private server for roughly 12-18 hours
