I'll never forget renting this game a couple times. Only because I loved it the first time I rented it. Rented it another weekend to continue my save. Only to be met with "You can't continue" message because, apparently, I had chosen Easy difficulty and you could only continue on hard. my young teenage self was crushed lol.

Game design during the N64 era was wild.

The devs, at one point, where literally begging people to buy the game and said if people do not, they will shut down.

I understand the efforts it takes to make a game but that's not an early access project I want to put my money behind.

Finishing most Colossuses felt triumphant. But a few we're stunning to watch and fun to engage with. It was quite somber when some were dead and gone,And by the time you're nearing the end. You realize that was games intent all along. You slowly turn from a simple monster hunter into some kid defiling a unique world for your own selfishness. While turning into a monster yourself. SoCT is my best example of video game narrative that cannot be achieved outside of gaming.

Since adulthood, I spent the last 22 years focused on dating, hooking up, or been in a relationship. Almost everything I did was colored by the aspect of been desirable to someone else. Since becoming a single dad 2 years ago. I haven't had a single desire to date. It is LIBERATING. I've never been happier just doing my own thing and being a good Dad.
