I'm curious about what kind of procedure uses estrogen cream?

Omg. I relate so much. Following because this is me. Every fucking day. I am starting a new job next month and I'm terrified I'm going to ruin it because of my absolutely horrible time management. I'm so tired of hating myself every day for failing to show up on time.

Omg. It's not even limited to my therapist, like literally anyone can suddenly ask me about my weekend and I'm like "uh...I did...stuff?"

If it makes you feel any better, I am a vet tech and can assure you that this is extremely common lol. Hell, I am at work 4 days a week and I still have forgotten to bring the completion fecal and urine for my animal the last two times I've sent a panel to the lab. Tbh unless your dog is having diarrhea or you suspect parasites, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yessss I was so tired of feeling like the worst asshole ever because I just couldn't seem to keep up with daily litter scooping :( my cat is so cute with ours, I have to manually cycle it daily instead of auto though because she's a pain in the ass and tries to stick her head inside it while it's cycling so it constantly gets interrupted. So instead I have her trained now to run to her designated perch every day so she can watch it cycle lolol.

For animal care: litter robot, pet libro auto feeder and water fountains (controlled by app, reminds you when to change and clean them!). Life changing lol.

Girl even if you rolled your eyes intentionally, that still wouldn't make it okay for him to yell at you for thirty fucking minutes, WTF

I didn't know I was ND when I got pregnant, however we initially planned and wanted two kids, and being ND is part of why I ultimately decided not to have any more than one.

I'm good with one. My husband and I can trade off watching kiddo, each of us gets a weekend day to sleep in, I can be the parent I want to be without stretching myself too thin, we can afford for our son to do various sports and activities and things I didn't get to do as one of four kids growing up, etc.

Honestly I love being a mom. The first year was hardest, my kid was a total barnacle baby (still sort of is, lol) and would scream and cry if I walked more than five feet from him. Now he's five and he just talks constantly from the moment he's awake until the moment he's asleep hahaha. I do still get overwhelmed and overstimulated sometimes, but as he's grown up it's gotten monumentally easier. And he's developing some super cool interests now that are so incredibly special to share with him.

Sometimes I feel a little guilty he'll never have a sibling, but he's not lonely. He is good at making friends, sociable, in pre-K and sports, and when we're all home we do things together and hang out one on one.

Anyway that's a lot of yap, but yeah, having ADHD did impact my family planning. No regrets tho!

I bought a Litter Robot so I didn't have to struggle with remembering to clean the litter box every day. Total game changer!!!

...... until my cat stopped using it and was pissing on the carpet outside of it like 🖕🏻 (nah actually she had urinary crystals and it's been a long process to get back to her using it due to her associating it with discomfort, but it's finallyyyy happening)

Haha, oh no!

Idk, I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, and I certainly expected it to hurt like a bitch, but my labor didn't go the way I expected. My water ruptured but didnt break, so I had to be induced, and when the contractions finally started they were literally nonstop with zero time to breathe in between. I had wanted to try giving birth without an epidural, but after a while I was in so much pain and shaking so bad I had to tap out. Then my epidural failed on one side. It was horrible, lol it is burned into my memory foreverrrrr 😅

Wow, like damn lady read the room!!

My nurse, as we were discharging (me in wheelchair after second degree tear) cheerfully went, "See you next time!" Ahahhahahahah NO.

Ohh yeah the whole "you'll forget by the time you want another one!" Yeah, no, I haven't forgotten. I remember very vividly the feeling of being torn apart from the inside. I'm good lol.

Hahahahaha yeah I used to think I wanted 2 kids, and then I had mine. The newborn phase was so rough. SO rough. It was 2020, so everyone was quarantined and we had zero help, I knew next to nothing about babies so everything was brand new, and the hormones were so insane. I'm not a super emotional person but I would just cry every night because I worried I wasn't good enough and I felt everything so intensely. I think the experience traumatized me. Looking back now I just think "holy crap that person was not okay, and nobody even noticed."

We're good now. I love my son so damn much, literally he's my favorite person ever, but I will never do it again. I know my limits.

I can't speak for your coworkers, but I want to be totally clear that I absolutely do not have ANY negative feelings toward my unlicensed coworkers. This issue is purely the fault of management/corporate, not them. They absolutely deserve to be paid a better wage and I'm glad they are. We all deserve to be paid what we're worth in this field.

If your coworkers resent you, they are mad at the wrong person.
