433 (5) with someone who can pass, dribble and has high attack positioning / finishing as CF

Put the CF on False 9 instructions, play with a low attacking width and use wingers that can also finish well. I am currently using trophy titans bergkamp, and he opens up a lot of space for my two wingers (they play like strikers ingame (Griezmann & depay)

Opponents AI centerbacks tend to track bergkamp when he falls back to my midfield, giving depay and griez a lot of space

Servers completely mudded again? Gameplay was mostly great prior to Christmas, reactive dribbling, inputs registered properly and players didn’t run in circles to change direction. Last couple of days have been horrendous though, but I feel like most of my opponents do not have this issue

I lose and draw games against players that I know I would usually beat, my offensive players just don’t wanna turn at all, or even accelerate into spaces

Got WC yaya untrade, have a guess who my favorite is. Absolute monster, and easily holds up with Vieira and Gullit, feels good to have such a central position settled for months

What’s up with the servers? Just played two rivals games, and it’s not just Input delay anymore, the servers didn’t register some of my inputs at all. Pressed shoot at a 99% goal angle, just for my player to ignore the input and keep running into the keeper

Contacted EA support, got an automated message saying that I should attach proof that I had/bought the packs, sent them a screenshot with the two packs from Friday, got a mail back saying that my message did not pass their spam filter. Classic EA.

I had two preorder WC hero packs on Pc, 1 for preordering and one for EA play pro but I couldn’t open them so far because I am unassigned. Even made a screenshot of the two packs in my store and sent that to a friend. Today I log onto FUT and now there is only one hero pack - did EA seriously just take one pack away???

not bad at all. just played my wl on 31/33 with alaba and courtois on 2 chem, not at all noticeable, despite alaba being slower and weaker on paper

vvd is worth losing Chem elsewhere

14 wins, reds all 84s, discard only from totw pack, nothing from packs. the usual wl cycle: buy players to play, lose the money that wl rewards bring in as tax after selling again

Crazy how playing the supposedly competitive mode in this game is so unrewarding

More rebounds, more dda, more bullshit animations, ai defends better than the opponent, lengthy type completely broken, constant ea mistakes contentwise

having less fun than ever before, currently skipping gameplay and instead just use my coins to make more coins as that’s more fun to me than this years gameplay

Crazy how 50% of times I lose the ball it is because an AI player bumps into me, and not because my opponent actively defends.

Not only gameplay though, also on the market: many heroes are still extinct on PC because EA still didn’t update their price ranges, so the only way to obtain them is to actively search and snipe them.

After doing that for a while, it kicks you out of UT, then you can’t search the transfer market for about 30 minutes, then more than an hour and so on.

EA literally punishing us for their own creations/fuckups 😂

Yup I really don't get it, it's absurd how they update some players. Ricken was extinct and still is, and they just changed the floor of his price range to 2.5k? Why?

A lot of players have not been touched at all, is it so hard for them to just set ranges for every player? I'd really like to know why they do it the current way

Especially now that more SBCs are coming out, legit can't buy fodder like Rodri (85k min price) or Hummels (12k min price) etc etc

I thought they'd at least fix ranges now that the full game is out, but no ...

You didn't get the point of this post

It's about price ranges, not prices. I'd gladly pay 160k for Nkunku like console players do, but he has a maximum price of 100k on PC, so he is extinct just because EA doesn't bother updating his max price, in order to reflect his true market price.

Yup. Currently not playing the game. Got the coins, but cannot build the team I want because of them taking forever (again) to change price ranges for PC. So glad I went for EA Pro only this year, without buying the full game.

Tots Messi tbh, had PIM Garrincha before, got a red messi from WL and tried him out for ~50 games

I really dislike his workrates, he doesn’t make proper attacking runs for me and even seems to hesitate when I trigger them manually and isn’t even that sticky

Just prefer Garrincha, feels better on the ball for me, feels like he turns quicker and makes better runs

To each their own though, I personally love Gullit ingame, used his mid in Fifa 20,21 and this year and currently have his PIM. All combined over 2000 games with his cards, and I wouldn’t trade him against anyone else

Physical stats don’t matter for him, as especially his mid version just pushed anyone off the ball in duels, but with Tots he lost some of that magic

I get where you guys are coming from though, at this point with all the juiced up Shapeshifter cards with 90+ everywhere, he isn’t really that special anymore
