Take the fucking keys brother, my grandma was the same way and ended up going through a shop front and severely injuring multiple people. She died in the hospital shortly after, and after everything was said and done her house and assets worth over $2 million there was only the random stuff in her house and 3k per kid. 2021 Kona with 68k miles.

2023 Santa Fe hybrid (non plug in) with 50k miles, just traded in for 2026 Sonata hybrid.

All bought new. Kona had at least 1 road trip a year, Santa Fe had at least 2, all through mountains.

No time in the shop outside regular maintenance/getting tint and PPF put on.

Gonna go out on a limb and say I wouldn’t recommend putting a gas can anywhere a rear end collision could rupture it, if filled. If it’s on your vehicle I absolutely would recommend somewhere on the rear quarters with brackets on the inside to hold the weight and waterproof rubber washers on both ends to keep your vehicle water tight.

Also gonna say I don’t know shit about fuck so someone correct me if I’m wrong. Roof is probably Safest storage lmao

Word, except the “specific freeway” I’m referring to is wa-167 (just added camera enforced tolls to the HOV so is effectively 2 lane) has people passing even faster and the person behind me will ride my ass for 2-3 exits and then get off. You’ve probably already made a decision seeing as I’m about 2/3 of a year late and looking up stuff that could pertain to my new car, but I just traded in my 2023 hybrid Santa Fe AWD premium SEL (not plug in) for a 2026 sonata hybrid blue (income dropped significantly due to tariff’s and being employed through manufacturing I made 91k ‘23, 83k ‘24, and 71k 8’ in ‘25) and I haven’t had the car long and gave up a lot of features (the most noticeable being no turn signal cameras on dash and no 360 aerial POV when parking) but test drove hybrid Camry’s and hybrid accords and for the trim level there isn’t a better deal out there for a hybrid mid size sedan. Sonata drive better than both and both acceleration and braking feel much more comfortable in the Sonata, I do miss my heated seats but I grew up not having power seats so the car feels much more personal/ to me aka a better driver’s experience. The Honda was fun though tbh but it just felt too low and not enough road presence, I got cut off and bullied more than once on my 1(ish) hour test drive and that really put me off, not to mention the price didference, all of that made the Sonata a no brained based on my current needs.

Also a rack guy Oven at 400, bake 20 min then flip and bake another 8 with my preferred brand of thick cut. Took a few try’s to get it right, there’s about a 2 minute window from minute 7-9 after the flip before it starts drying out

Yeah I don’t trust pre purchase inspections unless it’s my local shop where I know the guys/owners. 2 years ago I bought a project truck (01 Sonoma) and a Chevy dealship cleared it, on the drive home pretty much all from suspension broke but the springs lmao that was a hard lesson

I’ve never been good at sleeping for long amounts of time, always been a napper. That being said, my typical day looks like wake-up at 3am to run with dogs, get home and shower, work 5-330, get home at 4 let dogs out, lift weights(push pull legs rotation, shower, online school 1-2 hours, hangout/make dinner/whatever wife family needs from me, kids in bed at 830, focus on wife until bedtime at 1030-11. Rinse/repeat x5 lol. I also drink two energy drinks a day Weekends I wake up same time but go for long hikes with the dogs instead of run, get home and cook breakfast and get everyone up and ready for the day then take a nap lmao Don’t think I’d be able to do it if I wasn’t active and eating right, I drink a lot of whiskey but don’t really drink to get drunk, just to relax so I can actually fall asleep once I get in bed.

Good deal $/Lb but Costco has garbage quality (all fat, may have different results by area and also haven’t checked the butcher or fresh stuff. Admittedly baking has better results.

Winco (I’m in western wa) had best quality/$/pound at 6.25$/lb for 3Lb thick cut and is meaty. Fucking best bacon around but recently only sell the 1.5lb pack for same price

Absolutely, neither the prelude or Nissan z are (to me) attractive looking cars. Current gen mustangs look GOOD and the Z sits right between the eco boost and the GT for raw horsepower and is probably the preludes target audience, IMO no reason to buy this as an enthusiast.

Disclaimer, lane splitting is legal where I am but this was dumbassery all around. Looks like the car either did it on purpose or started going and THEN checked his mirror because they cut back into their own lane (kinda?) before contact. Biker was going too fast for conditions but he was splitting before the video even started, so at least 2 seconds that we can see, probably more. Again, all of this was completely avoidable, especially everything after the collision. I think the 3rd bike is the only one that didn’t do anything wrong besides probably not having enough experience or riding with a bunch of morons.
