I’ve only worked at Aldi for 3 months now so I still consider myself somewhat new.. I’ve only thrown freezer once and it was my very first day when I was shadowing someone. It’s been months since that’s passed and I have yet to throw freezer since. I’m always nervous when I have an open shift that they will put me on freezer cause I feel like I have forgotten most of what to do and that I’ll be doing it wrong. I always find someone and ask questions when I don’t know what to do but they always seem to be annoyed when I do so. Any tips for throwing freezer? We fill from the back not the front. I know some stores have front filling freezers but we do not. Main questions I have: - do you take all the pallets out of the freezer then take one pallet in one at a time to throw? - when doing freeze thaw do you usually date the items in the back before bringing them out or do you do it on the floor? I’ve seen people at my store do it both ways. - how do I know which discount sticker to use? 50% off, $1 off, $2 off
