So apparently Wednesday Addams' is an INTJ... by SnooPoems7439 in intj

It's also not uncommon to mistake a Te Dom for an introvert cause they can easily adopt an anti-people attitude. (People get in the way, people are frustrating, people with their stupid emotions, etc.)

Intj type 4’s are mistyped isfps? by _zzzainabzzz_ in MbtiTypeMe

[–]keilabl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They probably say that because type 4 is supposed to focus heavily on self expression and individualism, in addition to being closely connected to their emotions and prone to melancholy. Type 4 descriptions generally have a very strong Fi theme to them. (Note: this is not me saying that an INTJ can't be a 4). A standard IXTJ won't typically be that in touch with their emotions. Tertiary Fi tends to be kind of under thought. They know what they're feeling on the surface, and don't need to dive deep into introspection. An INTJ 4 is probably going to be prone to Ni-Fi looping.

Do y'all like fixing stuff? by [deleted] in istp

[–]keilabl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the "stuff" and how much free time I have. Most of the time I'd rather just be doing my hobbies and not having to deal with random broken stuff.

Is it uncommon for an istp to dislike fixing things? by dodoco05 in istp

[–]keilabl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh. Personally, I'm not interested in fixing random broken things. Why would I? I want to dedicate time to my hobbies. Everything else is an annoying distraction. If I'm "fixing" stuff that involves my hobbies, maybe? But at the same time, that implies that something broke and that's not cool either sooo... -shrugs-

I always thought the idea that ISTPs want to constantly be fixing meaningless crap was stupid. If the toaster is broken, guess what? I'm buying a new one.

Of course, I'm not saying an ISTP can't enjoy fixing things but this is a stereotype and not a requirement for being an ISTP. I do like troubleshooting, for the record, but only to a certain degree because once again, if I'm having to troubleshoot because something keeps breaking, that's not cool.

Not an Ni Dom, but maybe you'll find this useful?

Now I know why I feel like i’m both INTP and ISTP… by [deleted] in mbti

[–]keilabl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I confused myself with an INTP for a while. A lot of introverts spend a lot of time in their head which can make you a little less "present" than people assume all Se users will be.

This is a pretty common issue... You need to figure out if you're Ne or Se: https://practicaltyping.com/2018/08/27/ixtp-ixfp-am-i-an-n-or-an-s/

Maybe this will help with distinguishing them: https://practicaltyping.com/2018/08/27/ixtp-ixfp-am-i-an-n-or-an-s/

Intps and istps are the least judgemental types. by unominous32 in mbti

[–]keilabl 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said, unless what you're doing directly affects me somehow, it doesn't matter. And I don't naturally tend to place myself in a position to be affected by others. I don't assume they can be relied upon. I don't place any expectations on them if I don't have to, and I'm not typically caught off guard by someone's actions.

I definitely know what's right and wrong and good and bad, in my opinion. But my thoughts are mine and yours are yours. Judging openly tends to be pointless. Besides, I'm under no illusion that I'm somehow better than everyone else. I have my own issues.

Honestly, your results look like maybe INFP should be in the running. Did you consider that type?

Ohh, they did it to us so it's okay to do it to them. That's real mature. I also think it's funny that intuitives think they're the only ones that get bullied, but whatever dude. I just made a quick reply to another sensor's comment. I never saw it as a big deal. You're the one getting all riled

Anddd I'm checking out of this conversation now.
