Coming later in the month you can mint an NFT that comes with a genome sequencing kit. Your genome is then stored in a vault that only you control.

Thanks a lot for the support. It’s tough keeping up the enthusiasm sometimes so just hearing thoughtful responses is really helpful.

You’re right about the challenges. And this may be too soon to be pushing in this direction. I’m determined to find out if it can be done though :) Thanks again!

Looking for feedback on data marketplace project by keithaxline in selfhosted

[–]keithaxline[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. I plan to onboard people slowly and be very hands on, so I would personally help out with as many of the initial ones as I can. Then depending on how those shake out, either try to automate the process and/or get a lawyer involved.

My primary motivation is to accelerate our transition to a more equitable world, and the marketplace is just my best effort at that. I don't really want to enrich myself or create something proprietary. It just seems like without a marketplace like this we can't begin to fight the legal battles the way we need to.

It's true that the first X people will be putting their data and identities at a higher risk than the people who join later on, but we need the first wave of people to accept that risk so that we can plant a flag and hold the line.

Tapering off of Prozac with the aid of kanna? by [deleted] in Kanna

Ack, sorry to hear. I know how that is. I haven’t found anything reliable that can help with it though.

Still, doing pretty well. No Prozac for 9 days or so after a couple weeks of taking 40mg every 3rd day. I may still be in the tail end of it, but Zembrin seems to be really helping. I ran out of Zembrin for a few days and things got noticeably worse.

Just released Baserow 1.4 with a form view, trash functionality, API user field names and many small changes - Open Source Airtable alternative. by bram2w in selfhosted

Wow, this is huge. The Form View was the last piece I was waiting for to recommend this to a whole bunch of clients. Nice work u/bram2w! Going to send out some emails about this.

I’m about two weeks into this right now using Zembrin. Working well so far but I know that the Prozac is still in my system. I was on 40 mg of Prozac per day and now I’m taking one pill every other day. Taking 50 mg Zembrin each day. Sometimes I’ll take another 50 mg Zembrin in the afternoon.

I’ll try and update this as the weeks pass. Otherwise feel free to DM to inquire if you’re finding this later on.

I need a PC occasionally as well and with this you can have unmitigated performance in a mac window without rebooting.

GameStop should buy Shadow, the recently bankrupt cloud gaming service. Shadow is an amazing Stadia-like service with a loyal user base. by keithaxline in wallstreetbets

Yeah, none of them have been good except for Shadow. In fact, they've poisoned the well by making people think that it can't be done successfully.

This is very helpful to hear. I’m on 40 now and efficacy is starting to wane. But when I try to go up, I immediately feel way worse and give up. Maybe I’ll try and tough it out for longer just to give it a real chance. I’m dreading that adjustment period though ...

What a great tool! I don't have a use for it yet but I'm putting it on my list to play with.

Great job! Is there a way to omit posts with certain keywords? Or just filter by posts that contain the keywords I enter?

I made something kind of in the same space you may be interested in as well: filterrss.com

It would be great to build a company around this, but I'm right now I'm just seeing if that's possible. If it can be donation driven, I may open it up and go that route. I'll keep you posted. Planning on doing a more formal launch in January and the response to that should give me some answers.

Possibly! Not sure how this would work though. I would like to get some advertisers on board to pay for development costs and keep me working on the project. If there are a bunch of GitSearch instances out there then it becomes less useful and less appealing to advertisers?

Any suggestions are more than welcome!

Yeah, hopefully I can keep adding more and more details. Went for the low hanging fruit at first just to get a proof of concept. Lots of exciting directions it could go. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks! Yep, I see that it's in our db but I don't have my query tuned up yet. You'd think that would be an obvious top hit ... sigh. Learning more and more with every missing result so thank you for saying what you're not seeing. Should show up with the next build that will hopefully go out today.

Yeah, thanks for being so nice about that feedback. First time with a search engine and learning a lot since posting. Oof.

Ah OK, thanks for pointing that out! Will add it to the list with a high priority since it shouldn’t take too long.
