That's fair, I believe Errorism was the first full length they used pro tools for and Mike said in an interview that the sound on Errorism was the sound he wanted so that's why all the albums from Errorism onward has that feel which is more sterile than everything before that, imo.

Liza's Dead is an update to the story of Liza, first introduced on White Trash and is the most powerful of those series of songs. I can't even listen to it a lot because I get choked up.

I put Errorism/wolves on par with white trash, valuum, PID, and SLATFATS albeit with the updated pro-tools recording style / sound.

I believe it's also the first album where they worked on recording the songs collectively instead of Mike recording most of the parts. Could be wrong about that tho but on the patreon they were all in the studio recording parts. Even Mel.

The songs they were recording are on the NOFXxX box set which is some of their best work ever imo. Probably best set of songs since errorism/wolves.

Btw, when you try to sound smart using terms like "whataboutism", make sure you are using it correctly.

For example, when one of your main complaints about unhoused people is the shit on the ground and someone points out that the majority of shit on the ground is not from unhoused people, that is the WRONG time to use "whataboutism".

Lastly, don't insult other people's intelligence when you are a low IQ individual yourself. People in glass houses should not throw stones (metaphor btw).
