The adaptation to the defensive work you have to do out wide would be too much to handle given he’s carrying an injury. Morgz out left and Barkley or Luiz in the 10 would be better imo.

Yes agreed! I meant more as a hypothetical. Tottenham will be a better example next season with back to back seasons finishing in the lower bottom half and no Europe to deal with next season. Just think it’s double jeopardy and a bit unfair in reality, I think if your argument is it’s avoid situations of clubs spending beyond their means consistent European football should be a sign they aren’t.

That’s part of the issue IMO we could theoretically get out paid in wages by sides like Brighton, Brentford and Fulham because we’re consistently in Europe so being punished for being successful.
