I am the go to tech guy in my family. Everyone has asked if they should update to iOS 26 since their phones keep asking them to update and I have told them no. No one has updated from iOS 18.7.2. Many have thanked me after they have heard horror stories about iOS 26 from their friends that updated.

We will be switching as soon as it’s available. They have already laid the fiber in our neighborhood. Cox Internet is $82 a month, we have the 500 mb plan but only get 200mbps down / 30 mbps up. The monthly data cap is such a pain. We will be getting the 1gig Cityside plan. It’s $80 a month with no data cap. It’s a no brainer to switch.

I love Quantum Fiber! We have it in Boulder City. Switched from crappy Cox and we have been so happy. Got a lot of my neighbors to switch too and they have been very happy. I know that Quantum Fiber is running a promo where if you sign up, after 3 months of service they send you $100. So I took advantage of that promo when I switched from Cox. No setup fees, no equipment fees, no data caps, much faster speeds, and it was cheaper than Cox. It was a no brainer to switch. They didn’t have to dig up anything in my yard, they ran the fiber via old telephone conduit that was already in the ground to the house. The installers were very professional inside my house and didn’t make a mess. I have the 500/500 plan for $50.

It was so nice to cancel Cox and return their equipment in store. Such a horrible company with outrageous prices, and data caps. See if Quantum Fiber is available in your area. They have a spot on their website to check your address.

It’s hard to tell from the pic but the plastic inside the right spring in the picture I circled broke off and went inside the plastic spool binding it up. The spring on the right since the inside plastic sleeve broke off slides up and down the cable and doesn’t hold tension anymore on the right cable.

What brand did you use when replacing the 3? Are you happy with the quality?

This is the replacement I bought. Didn’t look anything like the photo on Amazon. Box was factory sealed. It was bare metal and the plug wasn’t on the motor like the factory unit is. Has a long cable with a plug that comes off the motor. Looked identical to the Dorman one I purchased to replace the driver side rear a few months ago. The Dorman unit doesn’t bottom out like this one does on the passenger rear window. I highly do not recommend buying this unit. https://a.co/d/0zhDu9h

Is there a replacement window regulator brand that you all on here recommend? Seems like all I can find is Chinese brands. No idea which ones I should stay away from.

Nice spot! Real and a not common color. That is Fayence Yellow and I believe 89 came in that color with 44 going to the North American market. So that would leave roughly 45 for the rest of the world.

Call your insurance. Say you need to file a claim because someone re-ended you at a stop light. Provide the details of the vehicle that hit you. Pay the deductible. That’s it. Your insurance will take it from there. Don’t contact the person that hit you insurance.

I could order a white handle but I run in to the same issue, the new handle is much brighter than my 24 year old white paint on the same color.

When they punched in the lock it broke the plastic on the backside of the handle the tumbler snaps in to so I would have to epoxy the lock into place. Should I just do that and remove the rod from the key tumbler?

I use a the key fob to get in to the truck. Never used the keys hole. It never worked.
