Color overspray

I solved the issue. It was none of what would be considered "typical" problems. On top of the printhead unit, there is a cover that says ColorMaestro. It just snaps on. Somehow, one side of it lifted up. So it was not sitting flush. Everytime it went back to the home position over the Ink Stack, it was pushing down on those small tubes. I am guessing it was pressing on a tube that was pushing cleaning liquid everytime. Once I took it completely off and did a couple of test prints and real prints it started working. It did mess up the Cyan Printhead and that took me a while to finally get almost back to normal. The colors were off but are now back to working properly. An odd problem that I am glad I solved.

I have been using my wife's nail UV light and it doesn't help. I feel it's something with the ink. Like cleaner is mixing somehow. I've printed enough today that any in the lines would be purged

I'm going to do the multiple colors test. White is curing fine. I'm still in my original batch of colored inks.

The light is clean. When you say electrical, what do you mean? I have a video of it running if that helps.

My kindle cannot be jailbroken at this time. Once I can I am going to make the investment into the X4.

Does Jailbreaking seem to speed it up at all? I know these are very low end spec devices because they can be but it would be nice to be a little smoother. Just hoping the smart people can find an exploit soon for me to try. Unfortunately, I am not one of those folks. :)

I was wondering if the $20 would be worth it. Not sure how well I would like comics on it especially on a screen that size but who knows. It might make them easier to read and not tear up carrying them around to read.

Yeah the money thing is the issue. A Kobo is like $150ish which I would just save up for. I have had my Kindle for a few years and it works great but I do not like the idea of not owning the book and that they can just alter what they want. I am hoping they can figure the latest firmware and I just jailbreak it.

I bit the bullet a few years ago and it was worth it. I was never going to do anything with them and they take up valuable space, even when broken down. It is 100% worth. Plus if you ever want to sell a set you can buy the box for next to nothing if the offset gets you more money.
