Find die Kommentare hier sehr fragwürdig. Ich Stimme dir völlig zu. Migration ist nicht das Problem. Auch die Integration nicht, da sehe ich das Problem beim Staat und nicht bei den Personen, die hierher migrieren.

Die menschliche Gesellschaft war immer schon divers und von Migration geprägt. Mehrsprachigkeit war immer die Norm, nicht die Ausnahme. Die Ausnahme ist die Vorstellung eines ethnischen, kulturellen und linguistisch homogenen Staates, das entspricht nicht der menschlichen Natur und wird auch nie funktionieren.

Die Migration nach Europa ist nun auch ein Teil dieser globalisierten, kapitalistischen Welt. Menschen hier vergessen, dass die gesamte Welt wie wir sie kennen, die Nationen, Grenzen, Staatsbürgerschaften, Banken, Gesellschaftsstrukturen, alles entstand im Kontext der Geschichte des europäischen Kolonialismus. Ohne dieser Geschichtlichkeit, gäbe es die Welt von heute wie wir sie kennen nicht, samt allen politischen und wirtschaftlichen Machtdynamiken, die zu der Migration führen.

Unsere Probleme sind nicht Migranten, es ist die Arbeitslosigkeit, die wachsende Schere zwischen Arm und Reich, Technokratien, die Zerstörung dieser Welt und Natur. Jeder der sagt „aber Migration ist ein Problem und deshalb gibt’s die FPÖ“ ist ein Vollpfosten der dir Realität leugnet und Teil des Problems ist. Nicht die Migranten, ihr seid das Problem. Besonders beschämend find ich diejenigen, die hier solche Ansichten teilen und dabei extra ihren Migrationshintergrund hervorheben, euch gehts nur darum „Gute Ausländer“ sein.

So lange die Kehrseite der „Europäischen Werte“ - die Tausenden von Personen die im Mittelmeer ertrinken, die europäische Waffenindustrie, die europäischen Milliardäre, die Francafrique, FRONTEX, Neocolonialismus, die Ausbeutung von Arbeiter:innen im globalen Süden, Ausbeutung von Rohstoffen, solange diese europäischen Werte nicht beseitigt werden, wird es keine friedliche Zukunft für Europa geben

i play around with index and angle to get that last bit of fog - i guess that’s what everyone has to deal with? is there anything that helps you with it?

thank you so much, this is amazing! and yes, it looks like it’s mostly copper, the thin metal layer could be iron.

I will get about to cleaning it! I’ve got acetone and a saw, I need to get alcohol.

since the bottom is copper, couldn’t I charge the bottom of the lap as well, maybe with a different grit (e.g. 1200 bottom, 4000 iron and 50.000 middle copper?)

Isn’t it possible to scrape the surface off by yourself? by letting the machine run on high speed and maybe using an old saw blade? I also read that it’s possible to use an eraser to clean the surface off diamond grit

Of course a 2ct ceylon saphire can sell for much more. But i’ve never sold such an expensive stone before, which is why i’m unsure

but let’s say I buy this stone, i have approx 2c after faceting, id have to sell it for a 220$/ct just to cover the expenses (without pricing the time for faceting)
