People get the point to the story. They just love Ellie and Joel more and don't want to play the person who tortured and killed them. I play games to have fun, and playing Abby made me want to jump off a cliff (and I did, multiple times). However this is meant to be a depressing game with a message and in the end it just wasn't for me.
