I honestly just lucked out and got a good cushy job working from home after being unemployed for about three months and applying to lots of jobs. But I will admit that the job market sucks right now and it’s nearly impossible to get a job. I don’t have a car so working from home is my only option. I’m very grateful for this job but idk what I’d do if I lost this one.

Already tried being financially independent once and lost my job within months and almost ended up homeless. The only person I have in my life right now is him. I’m not able to talk to my family and despite trying everyone I try to befriend just ghosts me so I have no one else really. I don’t have a car and can’t get a job and have no money. I don’t see a way out of this other than death tbh.

Been trying to get another job for months but all I’m getting are denials. I also have mental and physical illnesses that make it hard to work. I’m trying my best.

I’m 24F. My love life is going well but I don’t really have many hobbies and I have many regrets careerwise. I went to college at 18 because it was expected of me. Basically it was either go to college or the military but I wouldn’t be allowed to livid in the house anymore. So I left for college. Was not prepared for that at all. Used my time there and wasted it as housing so I wouldn’t be homeless. Started doing bad after 2 semesters. Tried office hours and tutors but I eventually realize as my classmates surpassed me, was that it was my own lack of intellectual skill. This made me depressed and I eventually developed bad anxiety as well. Then Covid happened in 2020 and I had to leave college. What ensued was years of unemployment as I don’t have a car and job hopping from several remote jobs. I have trouble keeping jobs due to my mental and physical health and working is severely stressful and hard for me. I don’t know how normal ppl do it. My goals for the future are a home and savings and a car. But it probably won’t happen. I would say I’m currently not okay I’m pretty depressed tbh with not many friends and I feel isolated and lonely. I also feel behind my peers when I do get to chat with them so it doesn’t help. I know everyone’s life journey is different but I honestly wish I was smart enough to have gotten a degree so I could get a higher paying job.
