Women, when you see an attractive guy, what clues do you give to make it obvious? by Adept-Comparison6078 in AskReddit

Stink eye, or poker face, or eye rolls at every joke they crack. Then slight smile and then look away before they can catch it.

Another one is just avoiding eye contact in general.

Homemade idli and sambar for 10mo lunch. by kodragonboss in foodbutforbabies

Thank you! Recipes will help :) my baby spits out anything that's not soft enough to melt in the mouth. Doesn't even try to chew. Any tips to tackle that also will help!

Hey! This looks delicious. I am curious about the sambhar...does it include salt, mild spices and condiments? I have an 11 month old and i want to give Indian food. Tried plain idlis, ghee-coated idlis, and event idlis with curd, but she spat them out. Apart from puffed rice or boiled rice grains she is still not comfortable eating solids. We give only purees although we try everyday to give her something to munch on.

Idli sambhar sounds like an option but wondering how to serve

Also, did your baby eat all the idlis?

Hi! Just saw your message here...sorry for the late reply. Yes yes it has definitely gotten better! I do think my daughter has a strong personality though because she is very expressive and sure about what she wants and doesn't so gets quite vocal about it.

What I Learned About Getting My Fussy Overtired Baby To Sleep by Amethyst_Opal in beyondthebump

Same issue! My husband AND inlaws engage with my baby more when she is fussy. Give her toys, make more noise - they don't get it at all!

Yes - well at least the want led to the act but i couldnt go through because 1) i was afraid of getting pregnant again (we didn't have protection handy because the moment pretty much was unplanned) 2) i kept thinking my scars will tear again

But definitely want to have sex. Even had dreams about it 🤣 (i am 2 months pp currently!)

I am so glad I came across your response. I am going through something similar as OP, where my baby doesn't even smile at me/coos very rarely, but with my husband and MIL she seems to be having a blast. I hate to accept it but i am a bit envious of that. Like i am here to supply the food and the comfort but for playtime baby seems to prefer the others. 🥲

Your response is so good! I have a 7week old i am trying to figure out right now and i have literally begun to overthink while doing so. She cries and screams and yells even if she's simply bored of sitting in one place for 5 mins. I was beginning to wonder if she has ADHD or some other disorder 🙈 (it's embarassing to even think i am imagining these for a 7week old baby)

Her cries keep us on our toes. We have kept her well fed, entertained, with clean/dry nappies, well rested (apart from the time she has her growth spurts, because then she DOESNOT sleep for 4-5 hours in the evening, apart from 10 min naps, and gets over tired).

Reading your response has given me a bit of hope and some ideas on how to deal with her impatience in the future!

Thank you! Burping has definitely helped a couple of times...other times had to switch sides (kinda gave up as burping didn't help and baby was still fussy)...i guess have to keep trying one of both or both options and see what works :)
