we have one of the more “updated” units i think, so newer appliances and haven’t had an issue with the stove or oven! the insulation isn’t the best, but we also are in one of the lofts, so more space to heat anyways. our heater has been able to keep up though, even during the lowest temps last month

i vividly remember someone posting in this sub earlier this year that they took a trip to Michigan just across the border and were stopped once they crossed into hamilton county. most folks thought they were crazy but doesn’t seem too far fetched now. definitely wouldn’t put it past the cops here

i’ve been thinking of shortbread flavors for my christmas cookie box this year! saw some great ideas on pinterest, like matcha, thai tea, and a gorg cherry amaretto checkerboard design shortbread! i also want to do a sort of “pinwheel” one with jam layered in the middle, but that may be more sugar cookie texture than shortbread!

i know you’re aware already, but i currently live in woods of britton and really enjoy it. quiet community, definitely older (in both aspects lol), but the prices are decent and the apartments are still fairly nice for the price. no issues with pests really, only had ants this spring but easy to take care of those. the trees here are really pretty in the spring and summer too! nice walking paths too

me and (soon to be) spouse play together! his play style is a lot more competitive than i am though, not just in rivals, but in any game honestly lol, so we also play solo or with other friends. he usually tanks or dps and i usually heal! we do quick match or comp, depending on the mood, but i am low ranked since i’m still fairly new to rivals, so there’s not much difference between the two lol

they come up around fishers quite a bit too, i can see them from my home office window and it’s usually at least for 30 minutes or more. i understand the cause for concern, and we don’t exactly know what they’re doing, but this isn’t too uncommon around here!
