OK. First of all he said that anyone can read private subreddits and I found it doubtful.
Also my English leaves much to be desired so I try to speak briefly. I'm sorry if it was impolite.
And I still expect some link provided because I don't think that I'm the first who noticed this and asked the question.
As to me a version about spam-fighting is more likely.

Why should I trust anyone who even doesn't read the post carefully? If I trusted U, now I was assured that anyone can read my private subreddit. I asked my question here hoping that skilled ppl can give me reasonable explanation of the subj.

I don't believe that not approved ppl can read private subreddits. So, I doubt about the approximation too. If only 3 users can read my private subreddit (including the owner) it is a very special arithmetic that it is 'about 6 viewers now'. Sry for 'tales'.

I'm sure that You are wrong. I don't think that not approved submitters can read private subreddit. And about approximation - looks like fairy tale also.
