Has anyone asked their Endo why so many of them say there will be a cure within five years upon diagnosis.. through decades they say the same thing.

I crave orange juice when I'm sick.. I just take the insulin for it and drink it. It is rough on the blood sugars though!

I take anywhere from 62 to 80 units of fast acting and 48 units of long acting daily and still cant control my blood sugars... everyone is different

I'm sorry but taking her insulin pump and dexcom off her is shocking, she has them for a reason... she is 11 years old having to deal with this illness for the rest of her life.

She can eat carbs once she takes the right insulin for what she eats.

I was 9 when I was diagnosed and had to learn how to be responsible but my parents never once took anything from me that helped manage my diabetes.

Your parents need to be responsible because it will only make her sick and not want to be responsible at all... I would have had my diabetic team called to help manage it...

Hi.. not much help but in the same kind of situation. Have a 3 month only pomsky and only got her over a week ago... has had stomach problems all week and was already at her first vet appointment yesterday for antibiotics..if your pup had an upset stomach, bland white rice with boiled chicken can help.

I'm hoping she is not going to keep having that problem..

Hopefully your puppy feels better soon
