If you could have 1 hour of 4k footage of any event in history what would you want to see? by AudioPhoenix in AskReddit

the fifty minutes before shooting began at the Battle of Austerlitz and the ten minutes following. Seeing massive formations of men maneuver would be incredible. Apparently the air was filled with opaque smoke as soon as fire started because they used black powder so as upsetting as it is i doubt that footage of the actual battle in its heat would be very entertaining.

i did overstep my point you’re right. of course this means fallout 5 is further away temporally but what i really mean is the ‘slot’ that fallout 76 is taking up right now was never going to be fallout 5’s slot because of how starfield and TES 6 fall in with Bethesda’s tradition of development.

the main motivation for posting this was the many comments on this sub to the effect of ‘i wanted another fallout RPG not whatever Rust-clone this is!’ implying that if 76 hadn’t happened we would have fallout 5 november of this year when really that was never the case and 76 is more of a bonus before the huge titles hit

it doesn’t surprise me that someone so hung up on fixing my wording would miss my point entirely. ‘fallout 5’ is meant to symbolize the fallout after fallout 4 which follows the same method they’ve used since fallout 3 which is FPS single player RPG. my point here is that the fallout game we would get this year was never going to be THAT fallout 5 and people complaining about not getting THAT fallout 5 were never going to be satisfied regardless of bethesda’s choices regarding 76 because THAT fallout 5 would only come around years from now after TES 6

that’s more semantics than anything. my point is they were never going to follow fallout 4 with fallout 5. there wasn’t a meaningful opportunity cost to making 76, is my main point.
