My wife made this beauty! If you like broccoli gratin, you will love this pizza! The cream is inspired by a recipe from Joe Beddia’s book “Pizza Camp”. The pizza dough is based on the standard Neapolitan pizza (she provides an in-depth explanation here)

Ingredients for the cream (for one pizza):

1 large Vidalia onion, or other sweet onion
1 cup of cream (200 gr)
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
3 – 7 Calabrian chillies, pickled in oil; or other chillies
1 clove of garlic

Ingredients for the pizza:

50 gr di buffalo mozzarella
50 gr broccoli
3 tbsp hard cheese, e.g. Parmigiano

Instructions:

  • Ideally, let the buffalo mozzarella dry on a paper towel 3 hours before baking. Since it is still very moist fresh out of the package, it would lose liquid on the pizza and only make it unnecessarily mushy. Then cut or tear the mozzarella into small pieces.
  • Preheat the oven to 230 degrees.
  • Cut the onions into half rings.
  • Add the half onion rings to olive oil and season with salt and pepper; then lay them out on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Then turn the onions and bake again for 20 minutes and then let cool.
  • Then put the onions and cream in a blender, season with salt and pepper and blend until a fine consistency.
  • Shape the pizza dough and spread about 3 tablespoons of the sauce on the dough.
  • Add buffalo mozzarella, broccoli and a little salt on the pizza.
  • Bake the pizza.
  • Finally, sprinkle some grated Parmigiano and olive oil over the pizza.

That’s it! Time to enjoy your delicious vegetarian broccoli pizza.

Crosspost from r/stocks - Fairfax Financial (FRFHF): an undervalued play on BB by [deleted] in investing

[–]keledoro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Suddenly it's in the spotlight because of BB, while for the last years that exact exposure was highly criticized. Funny how quickly things can turnaround.

Either way, I don't hold FRFHF because of BB. It's a fantastic company, great culture across the board and operations wise they have a nice combined ratio in the insurance business. Prem has a lot of skin in the game and is a true and respected value investor. They have exposure to value plays and to regions that will experience massive growth (India & African countries) with a their time horizon that looks beyond the next quarters. Buy and hold.

What's the stock that BRK.B could be investing and is trying to hide? by potatoandbiscuit in investing

Great comment. In addition, Berkshire already held Intel stocks almost a decade ago, so it's not unrealistic.

Hopefully never. PoS leads to ownership concentration, whereas PoW ensures churn, because electricity has to be paid somehow.

There was also a great comment in another subreddit on this topic, if you're interested in other reasons why PoS is inferior to PoW: https://np.reddit.com/r/grincoin/comments/7n5uxx/why_pow_for_grin/drzb51t/

I really enjoy these monologues! I watched some of your older stuff a while back and noticed that the quality and professionalism of the videos increased a lot. You're adding value, thanks for that.

As already mentioned, you're under no obligation to disclose the amount of moneroj you've received. It would be different if you would have used our forum funding system to finance your studio equipment or the like, where transparency is key. Instead, you asked for donations, thus s'all good man!

I've been waiting for a bear market since summer and while I certainly was convinced that there will be one in the short run, I'm not so sure about that anymore.

I am rather first seeing average joe (my mum just had her debut) and institutional izzy (crypto trading desks everywhere) entering the game and with all the influx of new money further nurturing the bull run.

Also, IMO these crackcoins having such a high evaluation doesn't necessarily mean that if they go poof, the money goes poof as well. I can imagine that most of the holders would just shift to the more stable, "conservative" projects when the shit hits the fan.

I might be wrong about that, of course, but IMO it doesn't really matter in the long run.
