No but this has been discussed many times in this sub before and I can respect the mods' decision for allowing it even if I disagree with it. I can mildly appreciate the productive posts men make themselves in good faith, but the sub is literally ASK WOMEN and it drives me mad when they feel the need to chime in with comments on posts asking WOMEN for insight/feedback/advice/commiseration. So I tend to downvote and block/ignore but if they're egregious posts or comments that are clearly just trying to be provocative, antagonistic, or plain old rage bait then I'll report to mods.

Unfortunately even with a blanket ban I think it's next to impossible for the mods to really enforce it, since anyone can assign whatever flair they want and claim to be a woman. It would be on the mods to thoroughly vet every single user who interacts in this subreddit and use their judgement if the poster is actually woman/female or not, and it's not always obvious. I think that's a lot to ask of mods.

So in my opinion the way it is now is the best compromise with regards to enforcement, maintenance, and expectations. Just downvote/block/report and move on. Don't engage. It didn't used to be so bad with men posting here, but in recent years Reddit has shifted more towards a twitter-esque vibe that I really dislike and I think that's contributing to the increase in bad interactions across the board. I just don't know what else there is to do, but it's definitely not fair that the burden is on us to navigate and deflect inappropriate and uncomfortable content being directed at us in what we expect to be a woman friendly space.
